5 guys out for the playoffs.
The rest of them definitely competed.
Showed some balls going for loose balls, etc.

They barely lost to GS at home with this team with GS trying for the record. They're gritty, no doubt. Would be a tough round for anyone physically. I'm glad we got them to toughen up the spurs going forward.

Heck, we would have lost this game if Danny hadn't broken his slump and Kawhi hadn't regained his early season form from 3. :wow

No way we lose one to Rockets. Dubs just where spoiling their holliday plans yesterday.

Might have lost tonight if playing Utah though.

Seriously that Grizz team is one of the grittiest and toughest in the league to play against at full strength, those guys have heart and are one of the throwback teams in the NBA who board well and play TOUGH D. I always liked that team sides 2011 to be honest (For obvious reasons). They are gritty and I really do not hate anyone on that team like I do GSW or OKC.

Comma placement is important. I'm guessing you're saying that the Spurs would not lose one to the rockets?

Except Barnes for me. Just don't like the guy. But yeah, the grizz style is perfect for the playoffs

Not sure why a competitor like Barnes, who does well in the playoffs, is always a low dollar free agent or a trade throw in. Yes, he's a head case, but it never costs his team games.

All this said, they are a team that regularly loses bc they can't make shots.

I've heard Barnes and Leonard are buddies. Maybe he'll come over.

Respect to them. Well fought.

A lot of small ball bc they were short staffed not bc that is their style. It's good for our guys to get ready and toughen up.

Absolutely admire their effort, their grit, their toughness, their spirit. They've gotten a raw deal this year and a lot of groups around this league would have quit. They're not like many groups around the league.

Fuck the Grizzlies. I still remember ZBo shushing the crowd and Tony Allen calling Manu a faker in 2011. I hope we sweep them again.

This. Only guy I like on that team is Carter (and even he's a pain in the ass because he always plays well against us it seems. )

Vince Carter needs to be a Spur so he can stop giving concession speeches. He always brings it.

Fuck the rest of them.

It's not that amazing. They make millions because they are tall and coordinated but they are stupid as fuck. Spurs played like ass most of the game and still won on the road in a "must win" game for Memphis.

I agree. Nothing amazing about their grit and grind or whatever the fuck is being thrown around :lol they got facefucked in the first two games and still couldn't even do shit with the Spurs sleepwalking the entire game except for Leonard. these d-league dudes trying to get paid next season better be giving some damn effort

No one else saw Tony Allen "junk" DVerde during the game? Fuck yo clown. Hate Allen. Always have. Always will. He's Artest level crazy.
