Since Kawhi was #2 on Iso's in the league until the last two months of the regular season, and over 88 percentile in points per possession on those plays, I'd say there is a four thing... 4.) He makes the bucket.

The Warriors took those crazy 3's that we'd call bad shots during the whole season and played in the Finals for second consecutive season...Kyrie won the ship with his 3 playing Iso...We lost against an Iso team like the Thunder, and other of those teams won the title this season.

I wouldn't say that's the way, or the Spurs' way. I'm just saying if you have a player who is that good on Iso's, you should take advantage of that.

But I'd love to see more creative plays from Pop instead of designing iso plays ran for him the whole game.

Kawhi runs the floor well and has good timing on cuts, why not find Kawhi cutting to the rim? One, two, never?

If Kawhi would play for the Cavs/Dubs/Clips we would see lobs for him in every game...It's that hard to give him easy points?

How many times in a game we watch they setting screens for him to force a switch and then exploit the matchup?
He's pretty bad at ISO tbh. He can't score when it matters. The crap stats in junk time don't matter. where was the ISO in the 4th in RD 2? Great stats

:lol

Well, I don't know how a player who was over 88 percentile in points per possessions on those plays is bad at it.

But you're the same guy who said he can't finish when he was one of the most efficient players on drives in playoffs, over 81 percentile and 52.5 FG%.

Kawhi is in the 3-6 range of best players in the NBA, nothing wrong with that, tbh..he has progressed every single year, his work ethic is elite..

I think just for the sake of the forum, more posters should come here and vote (for LeBron) so that this doesn´t make the forum look like totally homer and plain basketball ignorant.

Does Lebron outplay Kawhi if he was on the Warriors team for Curry?

Yep Hes awesome, which is why he led the spurs to the finals.... never. He goes away in the fourth. Just like LMA. Not saying he isn't a good player. Saying that he can't score for shit when it matters, and thats pretty much a fact.

So what? Iverson, Nash, Barkley, Baylor, Ewing, Malone, Stockton, Wilkins...Several All-Time players never led a team to the Finals, and they were still amazing talents.

Unlike you, I wouldn't say he can't score or never scored in the clutch, because he was the most efficient in the regular season.

Bad games in playoffs? Well, this shit happens even to the best players. Durant was 7-33 against Dallas/1-8 on 3's vs Warrios in game 6, Curry was 4-15 in game 1 of Finals/4-14 on 3's in game 7...

No offense bruh, but 5 out of the 8 you mentioned led their teams to the finals. I don't agree with the Kawhi dissing and ridiculous standards he's held to, but making statements THAT off base hurts your built credibility.

You're right. What I meant was there are a lot of great players without a ring. Unlike tholdren, I don't judge the talent based on making the Finals/winning rings, since there are a lot of luck and so many variables involved.

Gotcha...completely agreed. Finishing 2nd in MVP voting, back to back DPOY, Finals MVP with most of his career left to go is insane. His support has declined rapidly across the board so it's hardly fair to judge him comparatively to others with much more youthful, prime support. Hopefully the FO can make some magic happen this offseason.

I don't either. I don't go slob-knobbing threads posting how good someone is, if they can't lead their team. He's not a great team player. IF the ultimate goal is a ring, he can't lead a team to it. If the ultimate goal is getting 2nd in MVP, he's the best.

LeBron is better. That shouldnt be a debate. Its not close. We could say both are even (I'm not agree) on defense, dribbling, quickness, strength, range...etc and LeBron still would be better because he's a much better playmaker. Leonard cant pass like him and doesnt have the same skill to make his teammates better. Not sure if he has the same mentality either. LeBron had a big pressure on his shoulders since high school and Kawhi never had this kind of pressure until this year when we choked.

Kawhi is a great player but if he were better than LBJ then he would be the best Spur of all-time. Clearly it's not the case.
