The latest scouting report from Draft Express (http://www.draftexpress.com/profile/Anthony-Barber-7067/) includes some interesting stats from Synergy Sports Technology. For example, 75 percent of Barber’s shots (572 in all) this past season came from isolation, pick and roll or transition opportunities.

The only part that gave me pause was the last paragraph. It reads: “(Barber) does not have a reputation for being the most coachable player in the world or the best teammate, even beyond his often poor body language, so he will have to show in the pre-draft process that these things won’t be as much of a concern at the pro level.”

And the first part goes directly against what N.C. State coach Mark Gottfried said several times, unprompted, during this past season.
“He’s been very coachable,” Gottfried said in January. “I’ve never had one issue with him not being honest with me or playing hard or anything negative. What I’ve really enjoyed is he has developed and improved every year.”

This is my surprise pick by the Spurs for the first round.

Definitely worth a flier, especially for a second rounder.

Spurs do not have a second round pick, yet. He will go early second or late first. His speed is unbelievable, which will make him climb many draft boards, as the draft nears.

Who do you most compare your game to in the NBA right now?
I never really do that. But I watch Tony Parker a lot. I just watch how he comes off screens, I feel like I can do a little of what he can do.

Likes to shoot and chuck and pork it up like Parker too. I have concerns about him.

If you can catch another Parker at the back end of the draft, you do it.

I like Gary Payton and Kay felder better as pg prospects go.
