How is this scrub getting time and appearing to be somewhat effective for a team predicted to be in the finals?
If this is Jefferson today and his best days were with the nets why was he so bad with pop?
Jefferson was still an end of rotation guy when the Spurs cut him loose. It was the fact he was making eight figures and the opportunity to get an expiring contract at the cost of a late first that sealed his fate (plus Kawhi's ascendance).

Pretty much. Dick wouldn't be a bad player to have now as a 15-20mpg guy off the bench but for what the Spurs needed and to be a start playing 30+ minutes he was trash. Not only that but he was a giant pussy. Hopefully the RJ curse stops them from ever winning a ring

Obv during his silver and black tenure, you'd check the box that reads "did not match expectations"
Wouldn't say scrub. Just not a starter on a team with championship aspirations, making as much money as he did

Jefferson couldn't play in Pop's system. Simple as that.
Bet he learned something from it tho...
