You dumb down the content of your show, add a little staged-controversy and polarize viewers by saying outrageous things. You thus gain a legion of fans & haters. Either way, people tune in to support you or hate. I imagine in Skip's case its mostly hate. -- Have you ever seen his Twitter account? It's hilarious. I'll give him this, he's smart enough not to feed the trolls. He would be eviscerated.

Viewers now have another annoying person to tune in and hate on: Mr. Shannon Sharpe. Although he brings some common sense to the show, the man wasn't blessed with the greatest tools for the job. He has a tongue that is way too big for his mouth and it sometimes causes him to have a lisp. It results in him pronouncing the one syllable name "Skip" as a 3 syllable name - TH-KEE-UP, which he tends to say over and over and over.
