Chinook (http://www.spurstalk.com/forums/member.php?u=37557) so fucking mad the Ravens drafted a nobody from Boise St. that he got off the site.
When the best thing about a second-rounder is the fact that he sets and edge well, it's clear Ozzie doesn't know what he's doing. Could have had Tunsil and Jack. Ended up with like the Ikea version.

I would envy you guys if the Jags ends up with both Ramsey and Jack. Most Ravens fans seem to prefer Spence too.

Jags could go 5-1 in that weak ass division.
If his knee holds up Myles Jack will be the best defensive player in this drat if his knee holds up.

If Murray can be good enough to where they don't have to workhorse Henry into a short career it might work out...but using a second on him when you have a RB? Typical Titans tbh.

We just saw the dumbest pick of the draft, Derrick Henry to Tennessee. Just how dumb are the Titans brass, they don't know they have a diva in Murray who must be ."DA MAN".....or he will sulk and pout?
Stupid stupid pick.

Man, this is the most disappointing draft I've watched as a Ravens fan, at least for the first 3 rounds. I just hope that Ozzie shuts my mouth because there isn't one pick I'm truly excited about.
I'm ok with the Stanley pick (I think he ends up as a really solid LT) considering that Tunsil is a moron, but I didn't like what he did in the 2nd round and I felt there were better players left in the 3rd round.
Let's see if he can find a rough diamond with the late picks.
Ravens need to kill with the late picks

Correa's going to be really good. Especially on the Ravens, a team that just churns out great defensive players.
spurraider21
04-29-2016, 09:36 PM
McKenzie really stacking the front 7... drafting Ward and Calhoun in rounds 2 and 3. this in an offseason where we signed Bruce Irvin and Aldon Smith (though Smith won't be available for the first half of the season or so).
still would like a middle backer, running back, and then a tackle prospect and CB prospect

I actually love our draft so far. Rex has a damn good track record when it comes to picking defensive players, but we still are mediocre (at best) at the QB position. To his credit there isn't much to choose from (draft or FA) to improve that position this year

They're fine. They will get Paea back who was out most of last season and he should help a lot. They got rid of Knighton also who screwed up a lot also. It's a deep defensive line draft I think they add two defensive linemen today.

I hope McShay is right. Ozzie's ability to hit in the third, fourth and fifth rounds is the only thing keeping the team afloat. I really can't understand how he can miss up high so often. I hope that doesn't happen this year, obviously, but we'll have to see.

Ive always admired ozzies ability to build through the draft. He's been a wizard. I'd give him the benefit of the doubt. But it could be that the Ravens were just on the outside looking in in some of that talent. If the jags were picking 6th our whole draft changes.
spurraider21
04-30-2016, 02:17 PM
like that we took a running back who can complement latavius. that was one of the picks on my wish list.
i also had no problem taking connor cook, but i didnt see the need to trade up for him. cook would be a pretty lousy pick for any team looking for a starter, kinda comparable to ryan mallett in that regard. his leadership questions won't mean shit when he's on the bench. im also wondering why they gave matt mcgloin a second round tender, unless they plan to carry 3 QB's, which is dubious. cook can be a trade chip in a couple of years if he shows well in preseason. the physical tools are there, but he needs to really address fundamental footwork issues before he can ever make his accuracy more consistent
would still like us to draft MLB/OT

It's funny how both our teams are rebuilding at a parallel level before our eyes. I wouldn't be surprised to meet in the playoffs very soon.
