My tech had installed Ad Blocker. I thought there was one and only one. I had to disable it to finish some work shit. Accidently deleted it. When I googed Ad Blocker, wtf there are like 40 brand versions of it.

Yep, I used ABP for years. It started to become such a memory hog. Then I found it about Ublock and it being light weight, haven't looked back.

What I didn't like about ABP is their "acceptable ads" bullshit. They won't even block certain Google ads due to a deal they have with Google.

abpabp+noscriptBTW, this wanker has a good setup. Noscript is God-like and highly recommended. I still recommend ublock though. Like ElNono said, ABP was running some shady shit where some ads were getting white listed due to ABP getting back revenue. When Nono said that, it jumped my memory and I remembered that's why I originally jumped shit from ABP to uBlock Origin. The low resources, low memory thing is just an added bonus.
