They're splitting at least imo. If we get both I would be thrilled. I thought we would win 5 with the Spurs winning both home games though. Still not changing my prediction as I think OKC brought their best effort tonight and have no answer for Aldridge.

I'm still confident. The last two times we played them in the playoffs we sat at 2-0 yet were 1-1 in the end.

I haven't seen enough to tell me the thunder are capable of beating us three more times, maybe it changes when we go to okc....

We should win the next 3 ala 2014 Finals, if not, it will be a big Blow on Kawhi´s confidence.

Kawhi needs to start playing like the "superstar" he wants to be and stop shouting at the officials, with a little more concentration from him this last game was a win, but he couldn´t handle the mind games for a second series in a row.

I don't think the spurs are winning in OKC. I think you're nuts. Dallas eeked out a one point win in OKC, and got put down in three straight after that.

The Spurs needed a loss TBQH. A four game sweep and a blowout against OKC in game one was a recipie for a letdown. Now, Pop will have four days to rub their noses in this loss. They will get back to Spurs basketball in game 3, scoring an easy 20 pt win and get a nice comfortable 10 pt win in game 4. OKC will fold like a cheap pup tent in the second half of game 5.

Spurs in 5.

It took a very fortuitous series of events, a comedy of referee errors, Spurs as a team shooting 42%, Kawhi having a VERY uncharacteristic poor shooting night, and a few lucky bounces for OKC to even win by 1.

Spurs GOT this. I agree with Shaq that Kawhi & co aren't going to shoot that poorly again. This loss will just piss the Spurs off even more. WE SO GOT THIS.

After game 2 in the 2014 finals I felt extremely confident that we could go into Miami and win both and called it as such. I don't feel the same way for this series. I'd be happy with a split.

I did. I'm not sure if I posted it here or how to search through all my post even to find it but I did call it. I can pm the tweet calling it after game 2 as well.

Im not sure why people are so confident we win both in OKC, when OKC just beat us at home where we only lost once all year and it was to the 73-9 Dubs :lol OKC is going to have supreme confidence, and their role players are going to play better at home no doubt. We're going to need FMVP Kawhi to show up to have a chance at splitting.

Well props to you then. Playoffs are different than regular season, and that should go without saying. Every game is up for grabs. I'm not saying that I'm confident that Spurs win both in OKC, just more confident than I was in '14. I am very confident that they will at least split.

Spurs win the next 3

My thought as well. This is reminding me of those Nuggets series, where they'd win a game one of the first two games, and yet still looked over matched. They needed a perfect storm of Spurs playing like crap to grab a close win.

Hopefully that theory pans out!

Yeah, if Pop could have picked a loss it would have been Gm 2 since he would have 4 days to put in some work & go in on his player after essentially cruising through the first 5 games of the postseason. It would also FORCE the team to bring their "A" game in a hostile environment, something they will need it in the WCF.

Westbrook is bound to go nuclear one game. The Thunder bench might also make some of their wide open 3's, although that's not too likely. But I expect one of those to happen next game and for the Thunder to win. Long term though, I still think the Spurs are the better team. Maybe Mills will finally show up or Diaw will finally wake up. But even without them, the Spurs are playing great defense and just need to find holes in the Thunder defense and not force so many iso's.

It'll be the fourth game. Hard to see Westbrook or the Thunder bench playing any worse. Even with them playing so badly, OKC still manages to keep the game competitive. I can see one of those happening 1 out of 4 or 1 out of 5 games.

I thought they played a pretty good game, tbh. Other than WB's shooting %, they played an all around good game. This was their best game of the series. I don't think WB can easily shoot a high % on the Spurs, Durant and Ibaka shot well, and that's pretty much all they have defensively.

I don't know, I think the Spurs played pretty great while OKC was dragged down heavily by Westbrook.
OKC did play great in the following areas. The whole reason they were competitive was because:

- Durant still played efficiently
- OKC beat the Spurs on the offensive boards
- Ibaka is the ultimate Spurs killer and keeps hitting his 3's
- Played great defense

I think Thunder can continue doing all the things listed. Durant is a top 3 player and can hit shots no matter. West and Diaw can't magically grow taller to match Kanter and Adams on the boards. Ibaka will be Ibaka and OKC always seems to find ways to play great defense against the Spurs.

OKC just needs to even the FT disparity, which they can obviously do and hope the Spurs don't shoot over 50% on 3's. And it's hard to imagine Westbrook playing a worse game so there will be some improvement the next game.

Spurs role players seem to be struggling to score without the motion offense. OKC seems content to not double and just let Aldridge and Leonard beat them. It worked in game 2 and almost worked this game. Someone on the bench needs to step up.

This should be a close series unless Durant starts checking out due to Westbrook's chucking.

I would've given OKC a 83.797 percent shot of winning one of the two home games. But if the Spurs now win Game 4, OKC will lay down and die in Game 5, imo.

Actually, according to FiveThirtyEight's CARMELO projections, OKC had a 54% chance of winning Game 3 and now have a 52% chance of winning Game 4.

Which means OKC's odds of winning at least one of the two home games was 77.92%.
