Spurs need to get it together by the next round. OKC is a two man team. This should be a 4-1 series.

Those two players are two of the 5 best players in the NBA. Plus, they have a huge advantage inside with Adams, Ibaka and Kanter.

It's worth remembering that this game started with Parker looking absolutely awful. Pop called a timeout and chewed his ass, and he put Patty in early. Parker sucked it up, and came back like a professional. Big game after a really rough start. Now in the post-game they are talking about him being the x-factor, and about Tony taking the lead in a huddle. That's what veteran leadership is all about.

Yeah, it was pathetic there was a clean danny green block on westbrook that was called, another one called on Manu I think getting a rebound from Kanter, one Durant trip to the freebie land all in less than 1 minute.

Spurs had more fast break points than the Thunder. Running the break better, and playing transition D is a big part of how they won this one on the road.

They still got outscored in the paint 40-20. That's how they almost lost it.

What fucking shoes are Kawhi wearing? :lol Dude needs a new pair...

I couldn't tell in this game as I wasn't watching in HD, but he's been wearing the Jordan 30s towards the end of the season. It's kind of a mail in shoe from Jordan Brand as they dropped the ball a little bit compared to the previous two models. They are overall not as good as the Jordan 29 and 28s. Maybe he should go back to either of those models. The 28s and 29s are two of the best performance models in the past couple of years and the Jordan 28s (which he wore in 2014 playoffs and finals) have some of the best traction of all time. The thing is, Westbrook also usually wears the top Jordan brand shoe, so I'd assume he was also wearing the Jordan 30s (can anyone confirm?) this game and I don't recall him slipping much.

Now in the post-game they are talking about him being the x-factor, and about Tony taking the lead in a huddle. That's what veteran leadership is all about.

The Spurs were getting a lot of calls too. David West traveled on his last bucket for example.

The OKC fans were begging for a travel on like six straight trips by the Spurs, none of which were actually violations. When West actually travelled, the refs didn't buy it, and weren't influenced by the crowd's reaction.

Sucks that Tim looks so bad at the rim, offensively..he's still a far better defender and rebounder than Diaw and West, but he's killing the Spurs on offense in this series..

I'd still give him a shot for a few minutes, hope he can find something for small stretches..

No question this is it for him. He had an awesome playoffs last year and was rolling up till the all star break, but somethings happened to his knee that he can't come back from at 40.

It depends if his bad knee has gotten worse. If not, then the bone bruise (or whatever the injury was) he got on his good knee might be OK again after resting it in the off-season.

He was playing great in the low model of the Jordan 29s earlier this season. I think the reason behind the slippage could be because he doesn't always switch out his shoes and Westbrook tries to wear a new pair (even if it's the same color way) for every game. Something else to consider is the way a player plants his feet as he runs, Kawhi may be applying more of his weight on a certain part of his foot that decreases the traction of the outsole no matter how good it's supposed to perform. All in all, he needs to wipe them a lot and I have yet to see him do that.

Has he been wearing the 29s the whole playoffs or just for the OKC series? I'm surprised he's slipped as much as he has if wearing the 29s, as the traction on those is definitely better and more consistent than the 30s Westbrook is wearing.

Creating the Game 3 game thread early cause I'll be out of the country on Friday. Spurs are looking to bounce back from a poor Game 2 performance that resulted in a close loss. Despite the blown call at the end, we had our chances. We just didn't play well enough to win it. No excuses. It's time to bounce back and steal at least one on their floor. I think we'll be dialed in this next game. Hopefully LMA continues his unbelievable play, and we need Kawhi to play like Kawhi again. Also, some of our role players really need to step up. Everyone will be available for both teams. Not much else needs to be said. Let's get it.
