Only made 2 3s all night and missed some good looks. Plus that 4th quarter was officiated 1 sided as fucc in okc's favor

The one Gino made was :wow though... but yeah, they obviously don't want to give up the 3... the Spurs should dominate inside in that case, but it didn't happen tonight...

The refs allow too much fouling inside to win that way.

It's evident that they are content with Aldridge, Kawhi and Parker scoring on their own, tbh..

Leaving guys wide open and hoping they miss?

Still have a great feeling about Game 5. Have a feeling we go Game 1 on them.

most likely because he can't get open for 1 of 2 reasons:

1. Hes a bitch
2. Hes a bitch

Mills was the only guy they left open, missed both, I agree that hurt..

Durant didn't leave Green's side all game, though, and they didn't double or over-help on anybody..

OKC hit shots and played great in the last quarter. Spurs did not. Plain facts. Tip your hat.

But that's on danny. Unfortunately he can't hit a layup, so thunder know its a three, and he aint going back door or putting the ball on the ground.

Green having a man on him = gravity/space for the other starters to operate

It's an adjustment they made after game 1, and they fully committed to it tonight

The Spurs' starting unit is built entirely around Aldridge/Leonard operating, they're content with OKC's strategy

Kawhi-Aldridge-Parker should be enough to beat OKC. But they really need to start dictating the pace more and start playing much slower for that to work.

I didnt like pace tonight.

Danny scored 0 because the thunder made an effort to make sure he doesnt get any threes. Only way they change their defensive scheme is for kawhi or Aldridge to go bananas. That didnt happen though.

Should start playing Aldridge at 5. With Diaw at the 4 if Tim is.going to continue playing 12-13 monutes a game...but thats probably not going to work because it might hurt Aldridge feelings.

Durant isn't going to help on defense anyway - so that is moot. To tell danny to just linger is retarded, or lazy. I would assume this was why KD was able to have energy to go off. He only played half the floor.

Hiding your best player, especially on our three point specialist, SHOULD BE him chasing the shit out of danny, and getting beat down with screens.

How is that any different than the previous games when he didn't go off?

Start Diaw & post him up against Ibaka, he's going to score 90% of the time if Durant doesn't help.:lol

It was in Gm 5 of 2014 series that Patty FINALLY showed up for the series & Danny came back to life after having B2B shitty games at OKC.

Not just the 4th quarter. Pretty much the entire game the refs bent the Spurs over.

The Spurs made their bed in the offseason. This is a mid range jump shooting team, not a 3pt shooting team. The downside of that is when they're going up against elite competition, a simple 5 point deficit is a three possession game.

Especially when the refs swallow their whistles on any Spurs and-ones. We simply do not get the benefit of many three point "the hard way" plays.

Kawhi completes four or five and ones every game but may only get two actually called.

This is a series that Spurs need to continue pushing the tempo with an average at best OKC defensive team when they start missing shots. That should open up some 3's in transition, which the Spurs have always played their best at. Have to play elite defense like they have most of the season though for this to happen fwiw.
