it is unrealistic to demand a vintage Manu game at his age, but he is probably the best Spurs performer in these type of situations (Timmy is GOD mode in elimination games)..

If this thing is close down the stretch, i would rather see him close out the game..a steal, a block charge, a nifty pass etc...he will make something happen..

this is the series 1st MATCH-POINT....And Pop should know it. It is infuriating how he went down with an utterly unplayable Parker last season, yet he feels more hook-happy with TD/Ginobili given our lack of options at the same positions this year....

Sadly, we'll need more than just a vintage Manu showing. Kawhi has to be aggressive. LMA needs to be looking for his shot. Parker needs to be penetrating and distributing. Danny needs to find his stroke. If we just have 3/5 of these things, Spurs should win.

:toast Go GNob!

But I still say TEAM (The Beautiful Game) is the answer. We've had some snippets of 2014 TEAM Championship ball in this years playoffs. We need more of it.

When the subs came into Game 4 and took a tie to a 10 point lead, it had a lot of those TEAM elements.

Spurs just need to share the ball....Ball movement..........Spurs play there best when they spread the floor and get everyone involved ......

Manu has played well, he's actually due for a BAD game. It's Patty that's due for a "breakout" game & he did show up in Gm 5 back in 2014 after he struggled in the first 4 games.

I don't expect a 20-point game or something..Unless he is a TO machine, he should be good for 25-30 minutes tonight...

Our season is on the line..I have seen enough of Patty trashiness and I think he's done as a Spur.. Tony could be counted for a regression..And, it is probably not a good time to throw K-Mart into the fire..

If we are going to depend on this dried up old mummy we might as well tank the series

Neither guy showed up.
