Thanks for a great career Tim, shame you will have to go out like this. If we were consistent this series would of been over in 5. But alas here we are.

Gets a great block on Westbrook and Pop takes him out...

Thanks for those 5 rings, Tim, it's all on you, as we can see...

I would love to agree, and have yet to doubt this team. But after blowing so many double digit leads and playing so poorly down the stretch. I have lost faith.
This team is done, we just saw Duncans last home game. Hopefully we can retool this summer.

I think he calls it a career after this season, whether it's Thursday night or later. We all knew it was eventually coming, but we didn't know when it would happen. He has done more for this franchise that any of us could've imagined. I hope he sticks around in some capacity after a much deserved long vacation.

Yep.

Pop pulling him in game 6 2013 was still the biggest bullshit move, i don't even care if it made sense in theory.

Whatever. This series has proved he was carrying a lot of over inflated egos, and he's the 2nd GOAT imo. We won't see another one like him in our lifetimes imho.

I've doubted them all season praying they would prove me wrong, but I knew with this style of play it was inevitable. Also I was thinking that the only way the Spurs sign a player like Durant is if they put him out of the playoffs early. Doesn't look like that is gonna happen.

Phil, Carlisle and even Tom Rivers would have gotten at least 8 rings out of Timmy tbh. At the very least no atrocities like 6, 0.4, and getting outcoached by Avery Johnson.

Yeah let's not blame Tim. He only took the money and couldn't do shit to help but soak up fouls and blow point blank layups. But he's untouchable because the past. That's what's wrong with homer fans. They get too sentimental over a player and allow that player to wart himself on the ass of the team until he has to be carried off on a stretcher, and it costs the team.

I like Tim, but he's an NBA player making an NBA salary and starting on an NBA team in the playoffs. He doesn't get a pass for shitty play because maybe he doesn't take the 7 million player option (lol sure).

For all intense and porpoises it did. Spurs need to get intense and use their porpoise brains in gear for a win on Thursday. If LMA isn't injured we should be able bring this back home.

Tim was much more effective in the first half of the year before the right knee flared up.

I don't know if there is something that can be done to help his right knee out for next year, but I'm not sure that would matter at this point.

He deserved more, he deserved 8 rings but bad luck got in the way. It's a shame, if he had the luck of Kobe, he'd have 8 rings, 6 Finals MVP's, and 3 MVP's. However, 5 rings, 3 Finals MVP's and 2 MVP's, including playing in his prime during arguably the toughest superstar era ever, is amazing. If Duncan was in his prime today he'd feast on the league including GS.

I don't want him to be out there if he's completely done. Better to end on a higher note. At the end of the day, he still has 5 rings and will be recognized as a top 5 player of all time.
