When you start spring cleaning in the fall......I just rearranged my living room ...trying to get that big comfy sofa closer than close to my big ass screen tv....checking all the connections and speakers .......;-)

You know the season is about to start when.....You're told "Scarface" is on TV, and you go expecting to see the Al Pacino movie, and instead it's Greg Popovich doing an interview on ESPNEWS.
You know the season is about to start when.....Shaq's under 350 lb. You know the NBA seasons in full swing when Shaq's pushing 400.

I always do that as well with those words.
All I know is, the "Zen" is about to get a dose of reality NBA coaching without all the spotlight and star lineups. I can actually say that on paper, the Lakers suck. Maybe they got tired of rings.

If the Lakers stay healthy, and they can pick up something decent with their MLE, they're a playoff team.
They've got a top-5 player in Kobe, a great second fiddle in Odom, and the most proven coach in the league in Dr. Phil.

... do you turn your subscription on and off with the NBA season? I find it cheap and ok, but not because of any in-season coverage, compared to invaluable NBA League Pass.
My pre-season activities are Kickoff Luncheon and buying League Pass.
when SAS starts spouting off about how great shaq and miami are, but wait he seems to work that in during the MLB segment of his show...... bah
