I don't know how long Holt is gonna allow him to run this franchise into the ground. This is a new era of basketball. He resonds in game 6 by making Duncan the first option on offense in pick n rolls.

agree. no GOAT level coach has been routinely embarrassed in the postseason like him

He's always had a massive ego, but the media calling him a genius has fucked this team imo.

The Spurs need a new coach who understands the Spurs' culture. Like a former player, or something....

Yeah. Would rather have Carlisle out there. Would have won more championships. Pop just got carried by Tim.

If Spurs lose tonight, dollars to donuts Pop will be goofy with the media afterwards. Usually his way of making basketball (i.e. His fuckups) seem trivial.

So how many Spurs assistant coaches get hired this summer as head coaches?

Definitely one of the best coaches of all time but got his butt kicked in this one.

The last time he got his butt kicked by a coach was probably 2012 with Scott Brooks.

I think Pop coaches afraid of Westbrook and Durant rather than just respecting them.

we can't continue to get put out by these type of teams in teh 1st and 2nd round. He's seriously being out coached.

They missed a thousand open jumpers tonight. Got some bad calls in the series and had some match up issues. People on this site have been screaming that Pop is getting outcoached since 2004. They go on to win a title and it's quiet, the next year they lose in the playoffs and he sucks, getting outcoached. According to Spurstalk the Spurs should have 15 rings in the Duncan era.

Its easy to look like a genius when Duncan carries you for so many years and you were ahead of the curb with euro players but that was years ago. The team has resorted to running ISO plays and no ball movement, stagnant players and nobody to spot up and shoot. If LMA was supposed to be like Tim they should have gone out of there way to get spot up 3 point shooters.

Everything needs to get blown up and recreated around their stars. Doubt it happens, it'll be patch work and try again.. Hopefully he walks away, he has no motivation or desire to win anymore.

You can't say the team sucks after winning 67 games. This directly reflects on Pop.

Needs to retire. Get someone young and hungry in here.

This old senile fuck couldn't even give Duncan his one moment to be acknowledged by the OKC crowd.

I am tired of seeing Pop's teams go down missing tons of open jumpers. Basically it's because in these situations the Spurs offense lacks any flow/rhythm. The other team has figured out how to disrupt their offense and that makes the open jumpers much harder. It's been the same story since 2004.

It was simply awful.

Everyone could see his subs were a disaster waiting to happen and then his attempts at putting out a fire was pouring gasoline all over it reeking of panic and desperation.
