I've been running the last round through my head repeatedly and I'm still in awe over the Spurs-Thunder series. That was the best Spurs team I'd ever seen and a more flawed Thunder team than in past years. Leonard and Aldridge played well enough to win, Danny Green was in playoff form, and even Tony Parker had a couple of unlikely good games in that series. Your bench was awful, but never have I seen a series turn so drastically on one stat: OKC's offensive rebounding. GSW has a propensity to let opposing guards go off on them, and can their Lineup of Death (small ball) work against them against such a historically great rebounding team?

I would be shocked. Just imagine this: SA held OKC who was the 2nd best offense in the league to under 100 points per game in 4 out of 6. That was even with rebounding being an issue and OKC dominating FT's in 5 of the 6 games. GS is a great defense as well, but on offense, much more potent than SA.

If OKC defends GS like they did SA giving up uncontested looks consistently, GS will kill them. Then GS has more versatility and depth as well.

I'll say Warriors in five. OKC still makes too many stupid turnovers at the end of close games. They have done it all season. They did it in Games 2, 3, and 5, and Golden State always capitalizes when teams try to throw games away. If OKC can pull the upset it'll probably go down as the greatest upset in NBA history, unless it happens because Curry got hurt.

I back the reasoning of offensive rebounding. Its how LeBron gets to the finals(Tristan Thompson). Championship teams are first to the ball. 2014 Spurs were first to the ball and finished on their first attempts on possession. Golden State is always first to the ball.

You must wear your opponent down by out hustling them..doing everything to show YOU WANT TO WIN.

Its why Toronto, Atlanta, Indiana, and Chicago were doomed mental midgets. Awful shots on offsense that required multiple attempts to create a successful scoring play. I would be shocked. Just imagine this: SA held OKC who was the 2nd best offense in the league to under 100 points per game in 4 out of 6. That was even with rebounding being an issue and OKC dominating FT's in 5 of the 6 games. GS is a great defense as well, but on offense, much more potent than SA.

If OKC defends GS like they did SA giving up uncontested looks consistently, GS will kill them. Then GS has more versatility and depth as well.

OKC on pace to score under 100 again. But GS hitting their looks both open & tough and lead is double digits. Without the rebounding offensively, OKC defense not crisp enough to stop this GS team who won't miss half way decent looks.

Kanter is back to being useless because they put him in the PNR with Curry and it's over. OKC bench shooting well, but getting destroyed on other end where SA bench shit the bed. GS can switch better than SA did as well.

GS was up 6 when OKC tried to match GS going small. The lead went to 12 in 2 minutes and now is 14.
