Both games were imminently winnable. The Spurs were up late in both games.
All-time flagrantly bad calls contributed (if not caused) to those two losses.
Point is not to panic and wildly break apart the roster. Just need to continue to fine tune and this team will again win 60+ in 2017.
GSW/Cle will be pretty worn down next year after two straight Finals runs (just like us in 2015).
Back to games 2 and 5, the transition to whom should be taking last minute shots was still incomplete this year. It will not be in 2017.
Had we beaten okc, we would've had a huge, I mean HUGE uphill climb in the WCF anyway. AND the Cavs are playing out of their minds and will be well rested in June.
It wasn't our year. Not at any point actually.
I encourage everyone to sit back and watch these methheads in okc get whacked next week, and after that enjoy a really incredible finals match up.
And number 21 will not be in the rafters next year. He'll be manning the paint for a 20th year. His 2nd half performance tonight all but cements that for me.
