View Full Version : Spurs: Popovich getting roasted by the media right now

Apparently he took offense to a simple question at the presser and asked the reporter "are you coaching?"

I'm sure whoever that reporter was, he could've coached a better game than Pop tbh:lol

:lmao thinking he's the star of the franchise, not TD
:lmao Bill Belichick wannabe
:lmao Babysitter PJackson's bitch

He coached a terrible series.

Overplaying Fat Head was his biggest fuck up. I wouldn't be surprised if Anderson was like -60 for the series.

Pop and company have built a fortress around their organization and like Warren Jeffs he's able to fuck whomever he wants however he wants and they cry later if he's accused of anything. He's the Al Capone in the small market SA city and, though I believe he's genuinely a good guy, the struggle to keep things together and have the success he's had no doubt has made him into a salty old snapping turtle. He needs to be careful, he's coaching Team USA in 2017, he's no Bobby Knight and there's no special privilege a coach should have to be an asshole to media. He can just say "no comment". He seems to try too hard to be pithy.

Something about why he didn't try going small.

thanks

As much as he fucked up, going small was not the best thing to do against General Zodajuwon and Kanter

His biggest strength was that he wasn't afraid to play his best players 45-48 minutes per game. That idea seems lost on Pop, and he keeps repeating the same lineup mistakes (subbing in shit lineups at the end of quarters when the Spurs have gotten separation) over and over and over.

I was about to post this :tu

Also, Phil didnt hesitate to to keep his star players on the bench is tight regular season games , allowing the other players to learn to win without MJ

Pop does that in blow outs lol

It's interesting to see you try to squeeze something out of this expected loss Dale. You act as if Spurs fan thought they were poised for a ring. Christ, you won 17 games and have Luke Walton running the place. You've got a lot of house cleaning to do. We'll be fine.

Thank Christ, it's over. I was about at my wit's end. I couldn't sleep, I could still eat, I couldn't shit right, I was dribblin' my pee. I'm gonna sleep tonight. I'll wake about 3, roll over, fall off the couch and smile bigger than Texas.
