How do you only win 17 games when you have a Hall of Famer on your team?

Sometimes shit just happens.

At least they lost to a legit team and not an 8-seed like the Mavs, who lost to a matchup nightmare but a team they should have beaten.

If you're not trolling, which I doubt, then the team was much better the first half of the season. Duncan's right knee got hurt right around the time he didn't play in the first gsw team and a lot of can crushing, all but like 5 teams sucked this year

Terrible matchup. 40 year old Tim Duncan was our best rebounder(lol LMsoftridge) and once he broke down we stood no chance against the best rebounding team in the modern basketball era.

Lol people who thought OLC was a better matchup than the Cripplers

it was worth it for the a)Spurs breeze championship run and b)Don Nelson's beer fueled revenge tour

Wait, what? I'm talking about the Mavs going 67-15 and then losing to the Warriors in the first round of 2007.

Speaking of the Lakers, they easily could be on this list, getting stretched by the Kings to the max and needing a choke by the Blazers to avoid losing a 3-1 in 2000.

It's been nice. If the Dodgers or Giants could have stood up it'd be over for the D'Backs.

They're standing by him here, hoping against hope that it doesn't get worse. I hate those fuckers with a passion. GD aggravating motherfuckers.

When it comes to the playoffs, superstar effect does really count, and too bad the Thunder beat the Spurs in that regard by a landslide. The absence of a solid defensive big and an elite scorer (like Melo) turned out to cost them what might be Duncan's last chance to win another championship imho. A deep rotation may probably help you maintain a good record during the regular season, but when it comes a best of 7 series the superstar effect overwhelms.

Amen.

The living nightmare is over.

I don't know what I'm going to do with the rest of my life, but, a low A/C setting will dominate.

Night all.

I agree that the Spurs should be embarrassed. I won't be, it wasn't my achievement. LOL!!!

That being said, the Spurs lost this because they relied too much on jumpers. Sure they were wide open, but the Spurs couldn't knock them down. Add this with allowing OKC to take 3 shots to your 1 at critical parts of the game, along with some questionable officiating near the end of games, and you get a lost series. Oh well. More time to research draft picks.

I just don't understand how you put in Anderson for Leonard and act surprised when the defense goes to dogshit. Oh well, it was a nice run. David West was also playing dirty AF, fuck that dude.
