They've just been really dominant for 20 some odd years, which isn't a bad consolation. Even when it was 4 titles in 9 seasons, it wasn't.

Thank Christ. We'd a never heard the end of it. Now? Pop can jockey the deck chairs for his over the hill gang.
They'll leak information that Duncan has been harboring a nagging injury "the entire season."
"I don't see any reason why once he recovers he can't play another season, hey, maybe even two."
Big shots.
No, you are not free of the spurs, the Lakers are trying to recover from three years in the lottery.
When the spurs tank we're gonna compare that to L.A. And you know the spurs will out tank and out develop the Lakers.

Dumbass, the Spurs won 3 championships in 5 seasons ('03, '05, '07) just like Bird's Celtics who also didn't repeat. If you want to claim the 80s Celtics weren't a dynasty then that's a different story.
The 2014 chip is essentially a different era & if Kawhi wins another championship by 2020, he would have more chips than the 2nd best player of the Team Duncan era: Dirk.:toast

Personally don't care if they are a dynasty or not. I will take the 5 titles and the 20 years of regular season dominance any day over other supposed "dynasties". I would only take the bulls dominance of the 90's over what the Spurs did during the Duncan era.

The Spurs are the most successful pro sports franchise over the past two decades, period.

Stop stealing our shit Dale. Kobe played the "playing through injury" card every season he was skull fucked, and that's a lot of skull fucking I'd say.
