He has a player option this off season. I would assume that he will opt out to see what he's going to get on the open market. Thoughts?

It'll signal the beginning of the end for this franchise.

Yes, the Spurs need Austin Rivers on a max contract. We'll even throw in his dad for free!

I've never understood the hate for this guy on ST - other than he looks like an all-star against us. I would definitely see what it would take to sign him.

I don't think he'll demand that much. Can't be any worse than Tony Parker. Seems tough.

He hates San Antonio. When Doc was a player hate groups killed their pets and burned their house down because Doc's wife was white. Apparently they left notes behind saying as much. Austin told that story on the Vertical podcast. True or not, he believes it. I don't think there is going to be interest from his side.

Unlike the Spurs, at least his balls didn't shrivel up in an elimination game after he got stitches.

If that's your criteria, then the Spurs would end up signing every point guard in the league :lol

He definitely plays against us like he has a chip on his shoulder. But I have never heard that story. SMH! Atlanta dealt with Joe Caldwell in the 60's in a similar way, but I would never have expected it 10-15 years later in San Antonio. More's the pity - I would like us to get him.

This is the worst thread I've ever seen on this forum.

OP deserves to be perma banned.

For real.

I don't see the correlation, but I admit to rooting for Kyle. I liked him better earlier in the season, but I think the jury is still out. However, if we can move him for a better asset, I am all for it.
