It runs great on Nvidia. For AMD it's fucking horrible, GTX 960 beats the R9 290x at 1080p.

It depends on what you want out of the game I suppose. I don't care for the story really, I mean we kinda know what the story of Doom is, demons entering our realm thru Mars etc. But the gameplay is fun and entertaining. It's pretty violent and gorey so it's definitely worth it for that. Also feel it's pretty fast paced compared to most FPS campaigns ive played. There are times when there's motherfuckers everywhere and you're just beating dudes to a pulp trying to survive. As far as MP goes, it seems kinda like a lamer version of Halo 5 tbh

ROTR actually runs pretty fucking well on my 970 at high. I was holding off on this game until I got a 1070 or Vega 10 card, but couldn't pass up free. :lol Now it makes me think it would be stupid to upgrade from my 970 this year. The only current game that doesn't run well on it is Quantum Break. Maybe I'll hold out for Volta or Navi.
