Great way of reeling in State by Russ ...
Especially in the 3rd ...mad props!

Don't like his personality, but I do like his game. Seems like he's always getting near triple-doubles. And he uses the glass a lot like Timmy.

I always chuckle at the fools who think overall he's a net negative. .

He has a safety net now with Ibaka/Adams/Kanter to clean up his bad shots. A chucker always needs a strong frontline to win. Just look at at Kobe with Shaq/Horry/Grant and later on Gasol/Bynum/Odom.

This is his most impressive playoffs in his career.

Prior to that all the hate has been deserved. Let's see if he can keep it up.

I don't care for him personally, but when his head is in the game and he is doing what he is doing like he did in the 2nd Half. Tip your hat off

Look, he's obviously very talented, but in large part due to him OKC has not won anything. He shot 37% against SA. If not for a freakishly good 3Q it would have been another horrific shooting night and likely loss. He gambled like a mother as well and came up aces with 7 steals.

It was a great 2nd half, but his poor shooting, many defensive lapses and TO's have been issues. When he's good there is no one better, but he's also the reason for a lot of downfall too and until he overcomes those demons I don't see the point in getting so hyped.

OKC healthy, first time since 13'

spurs series seemed to zone him- particularly his game 3 loss. acted more and more like a floor general after that and results show. this iteration of westbrook is scary

"always been a winner" yeah, no.

Nothing, but Mitch is going to suck Thread off because that's his idol.

It's a long series. We'll count our money when the dealing is done.

For sure - this is their best chance since then. I'm shocked at what they are doing despite the fact they are a damn good team. I just don't think they are the best in the West, but they are on their way. What a run so far.

Good to know your stance on win the last game is no longer important :tu

imagine if he wasn't half retarded and had a semblance of BBIQ. Westbrook has a lot of raw talent but his decision making is incredibly inconsistent. I think Webber is right and he is too overly concerned with how he is perceived by the media.

You got beat twice in Texas.

Big shots.

DPG21920
05-17-2016, 01:19 AM
He's also not a great shooter and that's the biggest issue. He has good handles, is a beast off the dribble/glass and has worked hard to improve that mid-range. But he's not someone you really feel is going to make shots at a high clip. He's a volume scorer and play maker.

He doesn't deserve any hate and despite his flaws he's still a top 5-7 player, but he's not perfect and has to overcome certain habits/tendencies before OKC can knock of a team like GS. Maybe he will this series.

That doesn't make any sense. Has WB ever won the last game of the season? It's a simple yes or no.

Agree, he has a really bad habit to shoot horrible three pointers late in the shot clock with defender in front of him. for everyone clutch one he makes like he did against SA in game 5, he bricks 10 :lol

Some of that is very true ...and when the Spurs series was tied 2-2 ...i said he needed to better and not just a passer. He did. We will see if he has turned the corner ...this is his best all around playoffs but he was also good in the Finals

His success is a product of small ball. His quickness and strength makes him impossible to stop without handchecking, and his bad shots can be rebounded by his teammates because the other teams are rolling out these 6'5" centers.

You know how people laugh at the 60s with these 6'7" centers? The league's best center isn't even 6'7".

Westbrook is the modern day Elgin Baylor.

Can't think of a point guard who is/was more tenacious on the boards.

Did you just learned to use quotation marks? It seems like you are eager to roll them out despite not being the right situation to use it.

It's like these 7 year olds calling each other on their cellphones even though they are in the same cafeteria.

You seemed more proficient with typing than you are with using quotation marks, so I am siding on the side that you had been typing for a while.
