Have seen too many posts saying that Parker could mentor a young PG.
Sorry, but I don't buy that.
Tony was an incredibly effective PG when he was at his peak but it was all based on his speed and quickness. Not his understanding of the system or knowledge of the game.
He simply beat people to the basket.
If PATFO ever say they're keeping him around for that reason, they are either blind or just making excuses.

He will be coaching the spurs soon if he wished. But he will probably go to France and run for President. He is THAT good.

Parker would teach them how to fuck teammates wives and hero ball tbh. But on a serious note parker has never seemed like the mentor type .

Him telling players shit and running timeouts isn't worth $15,000,000 per year and it certainly doesn't make him a mentor.

He's a future HOF and best PG in Spurs franchise history. One of the best finishers at the rim and can score in the low post. Yeah, keep on thinking his game is just based on speed and quickness. Moron

he may not be worth that but aj got a big thank you contract to
tp is by far the best point guard between the two
he can not tear up his contract the salary cap will go up
we do not even know if spurs offered tp that amount first or tp's agent said that amount
tp was way underpaid to begin with now overpaid it balances out

I could easily see him mentoring Dante Exum.
He was Joseph's mentor in SA and Cory looks more than fine in Toronto tbh.

I was being serious.
Fuck no TP won't mentor anyone any more than Kobe would. TP can't relinquish the fucking ball. He'd have to use hand gestures and charades to get his point across.
I can't tell if people are trolling or just stupid.
They are not mutually exclusive
