I saw on the web that Thomas Robinson will opt out of his contract.
Is he someone the Spurs would look at? He played with LMA , so there is one connection and the new GM of the Nets is Sean Marks connection #2
Is Thomas Robinson a good fit for us? He is only 25 and we do need to get younger.
What do you think?

Yeah, a better athlete and rebounder.

For the minimum, to be the 5th big, I wouldn't have an issue.

IIRC, Spurs have showed interest in the past.

An underrated Tristan Thompson, tbh might be better

If I'm not mistaken he went to KU and RC definitely has the KU connection.

For the 5th big, would work.

He rebounds which is a big need, but it's jarring that he's moved around so much after being the 5th pick in 2012. The Spurs would be the place for him to rehab his career though.

He's never really worked on his game. He was content with his role as a role player and played up to that level.

The similarities between him and Tristan Thompson are unreal :lol except one is best friends with Lebron and has the same agent as him.

Both 6'9-6'10, good rebounders, bad free throw shooters, 4th and 5th overall picks respectively, both listed at the weight of 238lbs, and their Per 36 numbers are identical

But TT got a BS max contract he had no business getting it even asking for.

I've always liked his potential since his rookie year..more of an athlete than a basketball player tho. I'd be interested to see what the Spurs coaches can do with him tho..I can see it happening tbh

Seems like he has an edge to him which the team may actually benefit from. Could come in helpful if West leaves.

Sounds like a candidate for his rebounding but he's not impressive in way. Undersized for a center and I don't recall him being a roller. He really has no offensive game. Not as aggressive a rebounder as TT euther or as good defensively. Haven't seen much of him lately.

Not a bad idea if cheap.
