Played the open beta and enjoyed it. Like the way your toon moves in the engine which along with physics is a huge must for me. Source sets the standard for me and this game holds up well in comparison.

That really stopped happening after I hit about level 25 or so. Below that, yes there are a lot of people playing who don't pick support, but they don't even know what a support does because they haven't tried all the classes. I'm level 42 and I have barely touched a couple of champs (Symmetra, S76).

About 95% of the games I play in now have a support, and I only play support about 10% of the time. I've also won games without supports on the team, and also won without tanks before. It's not an exact science and people are still figuring the counters out.

I've had some great games as Lucio and Reinhardt with players lvl 40+. The problem is with people who "main" a character (even though there are 21 in the game), regardless of the situation. I gotta beg people to switch to support or tank, or else I'd be those classes every game. I had a friend who played Roadhog or Torb almost 10 times in a row, regardless of the map or team composition. It's retarded.

Love this game so far, but at least at the level I'm at, attacking is almost impossible. The Defense team just loads up on Bastians and Torbjorns and you have no chance of getting past that. But then on defense I will usually pick Bastian because of how damn easy it is to dominate with him.

Toblerone's turrets suck, but he's a near dead hero at competitive levels of play. 3 people simultaneously attacking it absolutely murder the turret, and then you only have to worry about a fairly useless dude with a shotgun.

As far as Hanzo goes, just be aware of where he is if possible and try to move erratically. He's not a hitscan champ and his arrows have travel time, so just try to bunny hop toward or away from him.

The more I play, the more I'm convinced Mercy is a better support than Lucio. Her weapon is better, and her healing is more consistent and her ult is quite clearly better in most circumstances. She's also very mobile and can get to anyone almost instantly.

There was never a competitive scene around Destiny. It was always a timebomb since there's an end game to the content, the same with any grab and loot game.

Overwatch has a ton of momentum and the scene is rapidly expanding. It's most likely going to be a premiere tournament game.

No one else on my team switched to counter them, so we had a team of me, Roadhog, Rein, Mercy, reaper, and Tracer. I probably destroyed 15 turrets in the game but it didn't matter. Couldn't handle 3 of them by myself.

Dude, I was level 90+ and I had another level 90+ on my team. I was Zarya, they were Mercy, and we were defending Route 66. I was thinking, "They know what's up. They will heal/buff me, and we will dominate the other team." Nope, we got fucked up by the Reinhardt, Mei, and Tracer. I had to practically beg him to use some common sense and heal me, sense I was the only semi-competent player on our team. We barely won the match.

It feels like the game gives you a competent team once or twice, then kicks you out and stacks the deck against you so you lose two or three times in a row. Teammates make baffling character choices, or if they make decent choices, they switch and screw up your chemistry for no conceivable reason.

I just have to play with a group of 5 others. This shit is ridiculous.

Edit: Please tell me that level is not an indicator of skill, because I, and 3 other prestiges, lost TWICE on King's Row against a team with only one prestige. And dude, I cheesed the fuck out of both matches: I used Junkrat in the first match and just spammed, and I used Pharrah in the second match on attack with a pocket Mercy.
