Pop has gotten cozy with the veterans and Timmy. He isn't coaching as hard and is kind of coasting. So maybe he retires with Manu and Tim and Messina takes over? Or Pop stays and coaches again. But it is time to get younger and build for the future. So here is an offseason of possibilites.

Free Agents-
Miles Plumlee C 7'- He is a good defensive and rebounding center. He is very aggressive around the rim. I believe he would fit well next to LMA.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7oIvqoHHHWw

Mario Chalmers PG 6'2- Is brought in to run the 2nd team. Has championship experience.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rm-WqryCJwc

Youssoue Ndoye C 7'- An athletic big that was with the Toros last year. would make a nice energy big off the bench. very good on defense. has a good hook shot.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kM9t3vINuvg

Davis Bertans 6'10 SF/PF- GREAT shooter. Finally comes over from europe. adds fire power to the bench

Trades-
Tony Parker and Boris Diaw to the 76ers for pick number 24 and a future 2nd rounder.

Patty mills to utah for pick number 42

Draft-

1. Dejounte Murray PG 6'5"- a bonafide young star PG. Very good athleticism and good shooter. Great defensive potential.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jmRj5rb6nlI

1. Patrick McCaw SG 6'6"- Long athletic kid from UNLV. Very good defensively. needs to add some bulk, but is a young kid that can grow.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3eQDF6YzxKg

2. Cris Levert PG 6'6"- long and versatile. shoot well. great passer. good length for defense.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o-b7q0Xg3ys

Roster-

PG- Murray, Chalmers, Levert
SG- Green, McCaw, Simmons
SF- Leonard, Anderson,
PF- LMA, Bertans, Lalanne
C- Plumlee, Boban, Ndoye

I like that that you have boban on your roster but everything else is doodoo. I think you missed the blue font...

That is one shity roster.
I know Tony is like 43 years old now and boris gained 30 pounds but trading them to move up 5 spots? At least pick 7 or 10 to listen. Not much you can get at pick 24. Plus, you want Kyle 13 minute mile Anderson as your primary Leonard back up? That is some scary shit.

Didn't move up 5 spots. Picked up an extra 1st. WE STILL HAVE OUR PICK.

and Bertans will play some 3 also. and Simmons will too. SO relax!

Why? a young athletic point. still got green, leonard, and LMA. Plumlee at this stage will be better next to LMA than Duncan.

Bench wise a championship PG to run the second team in Chalmers. Two young athletic wings in McCaw and Simmons. Sharp shooting Bertans, Point forward Anderson. Two young athletic bigs in lalanne and Ndoye. and a 7'3 monster in Boban.

I'm sorry our Roster can't be made of 15 Hall of famers. hell that would be nice.

Parker isn't getting traded ... Ugh. I don't think people on this site realize how the Spurs operate.

Anyway, I think we'll see a much more focused Pop next year. I think TD/Manu go for 1 more year, in even more limited roles, and he does everything he can to send them out on top

They won 67 games, but I think it's fair to say they lacked some speed/athleticism in the front court and backcourt. I think they can address those issues without completely gutting the team

Unfortunately it might need gutting. Timmy and Manu need to retire. We don't need Tony. Get what you can from him and Boris.
You still have Leonard and LMA as the 2 building blocks. Green is a decent complimentary. Then the hope here is Murray can be the other part of the big 3. Bertans and Anderson serve a role. And both have professional experience.

Man , you have a love fest with Kyle don't you. If by role you mean getting the Miller lites and picking up the pizza then yes , we should keep hi.

Parker+Diaw for the 24th pick and Kyle Anderson as Kawhi's backup? Are you outta your mind?

1: Tony isn't being traded.
2: A Parker+Diaw trade should put you in the 10-15 1st round pick. Not the 24th.

Yea I don't see them trading Parker, Diaw and Patty unless they plan on signing one of the top FAs (one of Durant/unlikely, Conley, or Horford). Spurs are more likely to keep the roster mostly intact while bolstering certain holes on the bench, then wait for the 2017 FA class to make bigger moves.

This roster would get Spurs last place in every division ever, of all time. Congrats. You should just add jimmer and adam morrison for fun.
