Whats the optimal weight for my size? I tried bulking to 160 and felt so heavy. So hard to play soccer. I wasnat 150lbs at one point and still felt heavy.

Any 5'8 here? I wonder if i am just not used to 150 and higher.

140lbs at 5'8? That's weak and skinny dawg. You'll get your ass kicked quick on the streets(unless you have a gun). If your still a teen growing into your body then yeah, 140/150lbs is about right. But if your a man older than 20 yrs old, then it's embarrassing. With that height you should be at 160-170lbs at the minimum.

Yeah. 150lbs looks optimal. It just felt a tad bit heavy. I'm gonna try to go up to 150 again lean...going up to 150 is no big deal but 150 and lean is so hard...its hard to be disciplined with diet. Smdh.

Barely..I do coumpund lifiting and excerise twice a week. I feel like that's sufficient enough to do whaterver the hell I want to do and still feel light. :lol

Anything more than that is trying to be something I dont even like. Just never saw the point of gaining extra weight and shit :lol

Ill probably end up getting back to 150 in the next 8 months...bulk to 165 and cut to 150 for leaner muscles...

150 lean probably is the way to go...its light but adds an extra bulk...

5'8 170 is hardly meathead territory.:lmao Are you from a 3rd world malnourished country? Most high school football players(except lineman) in Texas are between 5'7-5'11 170-185lbs and they're not bulky at all. Most are all cut up like westbrook and Cristiano Ronaldo. Meathead territory would be like 5'8 185-200lbs, and that's usually the weight of pro bodybuilders at that height. The taller one's get to 215-240 lbs.

I'm 5'8" 130-135 pounds, depending on time of year and stress level. Any time I get stressed out, I lose weight. Any time I'm super busy, I eat very little and lose a lot of weight. And god forbid I catch a cold or stomach flu (doesn't happen very often anymore, but still)... I lose 10+ pounds easily. The current girl I'm dating wishes she had all these "problems", because she is also 5'8" and weighs close to 180.


But at least I eat meat like a man instead of some neo-liberal vegan ballless quivering pink vagina. I eat vegetables, too, for what it's worth, and even some candy and ice cream, but I try to keep it healthy. I put away food like a lineman when it's available to me. It all just gets burnt off or pooped out.


The positive thing is that we're at the kind of stature and physique that has a very high longevity likelihood for a man. You don't have to be a 190+ pound, jacked weight room regular and pull 10+ chicks a week to be happy in your love/sex life. You just have to find the right girl(s) who seek out the right kind of strength, that is financial, mental and emotional strength. Sheer physical strength is of the lowest order in biology. Humans are the most successful and dominant species on Earth because of our minds and resilience, not our physical strength.
