So I have two versions of XP on my computer, and when I reboot I have to choose between the two. Well, I never use one of the two and my memory is shrinking. How do I get rid of the other OS?

Do you have anything else you need on the additional partition?

Create a bootdisk, and run fdisk, and delete the partition. Only if you can afford losing any information you have on that partition. Or you can use Partition magic

nope.
The thing is, the partition I want to delete is the original (C:) that contains XP.

as longa s you can boot from both partitions, you can delete one. You will lose everything on it. You can then make a new partition under disk manager in windows and use the space.

I think from the XP you want to keep, you can reformat the partition you want to delete. I don't remember what Control Panel allows you to do this.
Measure twice, cut once.

In the end you'll wish you went with a clean install.
Back up your essential data, write zeroes to the drive and install squeky clean. Especially if you have had the original OS for some time.
I doubt the memory issue is caused by a dual boot, so a clean install should solve this problem.
