I don't get it. Time Warner got bought out by Charter Communications and is re-named Spectrum. So you're dumping Time Warner for Time Warner?

Anybody here have Roku? My brother has it and he loves it. Cut about 100 bucks down on his cable bill a month.

He doesn't get a lot of channels but he does get ESPN, ESPN2, TNT, and History Channel. And that's about all I watch tbh. Plus my kids would get Disney and the Cartoon Network.....

Thinking bout switching. I fucking hate Comcast.

I saw there is a $30 a month package with Sling with those channels and with local Fox Sports. Do they black out Spurs games though?

I couldn't tell ya. I don't live in SA (which is why I order league pass every year), but I'm guessing that it would apply to Pelicans and Grizz game for me. The problem is I only watch those teams when they play the Spurs.

Just tired of paying for 200+ channels when I only watch like 10 of them.

I got tired of the bad service from Time Warner. Channels were always dropping
out or said try again later. The internet would also drop out or freeze up. I went to
ATT U-Verse about 3 years ago. Never lost a channel, great HD, and the Internet was
fast and always worked. When my 2 year package was up the jacked up the rates
a lot. I called a retention line and got a better rate for another a year with the understanding
it would only be for a year. After the year the rates went way up and i started to look
around for another service cheaper. We don't have Grande or Google service where I live.

We settled with Direct TV for the TV part and ATT for the internet. Att now owns Direct TV
and they are trying to get all U-verse TV service to Direct TV. I was told you will
not be able to get U-verse after Sept. because of all the heavy use of the internet to run
to run U-verse, home phone and the internet . All the U-Verse service came to your house
over your telephone line to your house.

Direct TV comes in on a Dish and the internet comes in on the phone line to a large
modem module. The Direct TV box signs on to the modern and gets the on demand channels
and program list updated. The only time I have had a channel drop out is in rain storms.
The internet runs good with no locking up. We are OK with the service so far and we got a hell
of a good package deal locked in for 2 years. TV with Showtime, Starz Sports package and HD and 3
wireless boxes. a $100 gift card, High speed internet, home phone and cell phone service all for $150 per month.
ATT is pushing very hard to get you on Direct TV...

I know it's for 2 years but I will call after 2 years and ask for a discount again. Who knows what service will be
where i live in 3 years. I just will shop around again......

Growing up on 56k AOL, i find my 200mbit tec speeds extremely satisfying. Even my wifi consistently clocks 150 plus, and close to hard wired speeds during downtimes.

No issues on my side with it. Got in with a 3yr locked in promo for gigabit plus the u200/hd/HBO for 150 a month only. Pretty damn good considering gigapower by itself is around 90 a month I believe.

First the data caps are as follows

Dsl - 150gb
Uverse 6mb and below - 300gb
Uverse 12mb-75mb - 600gb
Gigapower - 1tb

if you have Uverse or directv you get unlimited data

Just got DirecTV/ATT internet bundled. Went a package above the base to get some extra sports channels. 100 bucks per month. Not bad. Mind you, I only used my internet for ST, news and porn.
