Meh. I'd rather have the previous Pelican Ish Smith. Dude is lightning quick and could become a good shooter with some work.
Yeah for those that don't know the spurs have a secret training facility in Canada where op is like a janitor or something. I tell the staff (I am Canadian Peter Holt) not to socialize with the immigrants but I think he sneaks in the vents or something.

I find it ironic a dickrider such as yourself would attempt to call someone a lil bitch. You should concetrate your efforts on apo's aunt instead and maybe your witty "lil bitch" replies might carry more weight. Until you quit dickriding OP the lil bitch label is always going to apply to you.

If i was on here constantly dickriding OP you would notice me. You would probably be all jealous.
You and OP must be in a dungeons and dragons club together or are one in the same. Its the only explanation i can come up with tbh.

No...OP was PULLING a train. The fourth guy in line said something about wearing spurs over the holiday. Simple misunderstanding.

can you at least clarify if this is a trade or prepping for 2017?
This is like when you said KAwhi would force himself off the team bc of parker and never ackowleged how difficult that would be with restricted free agency.
That's your biggest fail in my book. That's sub-vanilla knowledge there.

I put these guys on hush mode for awhile. Present some facts and they defer, then when they get called out on it they run. :lol
They throw a thousand things against the wall so when something sticks they can pretend like they knew all along.
Good stuff slo mo. Op should try and at least be funny in his trolling, the whole, "let me pick something very likely to be true, and pretend it's secret info" gets old.

If Dunn falls to six and the Pelicans take him, I'd offer Diaw, Mills, 29 and if necessary Simmons, for Holiday and Gee (if Simmons has to be thrown in).
Sure, the Jazz could offer something like 12, Burke/Neto and maybe some third minor piece, but the Pelicans are desperate to win now, Demps' job has been rumored to be in jeopardy for a long time and he has Spurs ties. He might favor the more immediate help.

Don't think it makes sense to trade Holiday for NO, especially if they're trying to win now. He's the second-best player, and which his size, he can still be a stater even if the Pels draft another PG. They'd probably take that Mills and Diaw for Evans and 40, though, if the Spurs want to go in that direction (which they don't and shouldn't).

I'd love Holiday. Don't see them even thinking about doing it though, unless they get Dunn -- like you mentioned.

Same, but I think it's realistic enough (whether it should be is a different story) that it's worth a shot.
Here's the devil's advocate:
- Holiday is a year away from free agency and has had significant leg injuries for 3 years
- Dunn's the same size as Holiday and projects as a plus defender, that is capable of starting immediately
- They've had paper thin depth and been beyond decimated with injuries for years
- They'd potentially add 2-3 rotation players, with a strong track record of durability
- They have a somewhat limited financial/asset situation; this would provide more flexibility

For what the Spurs need and what potential there is to make a move, I would be thrilled with gambling on Evans for one year. He's still talented and would be such a good fit with the bench. Spurs need that dominate bench player even if Evans has flaws. He's not the best distributor in the world, but solid enough and can score against anyone.
For a one year stop gap? I think that would be a tremendous get.

He's as big of an injury risk as Holiday, if not more. He and Anderson wouldn't be a good fit, as neither can shoot. There are moves I'd rather make if the Spurs go the trade route. If they are looking at cap space, Gordon is a top target for UFAs.

I'm not worried at all about Kyle and who fits around him. The team needs talent, especially if that talent is on an expiring deal which might lead to the cap space plan of 2017/2018 which I think is likely (meaning the bigger re-tool).
Sure, he's an injury risk but minutes will be managed and for what I think my be an actual attainable trade, I like Evans.
Of course, I would be happy with Gordon via FA for the same reasons. But trade-wise, with the assests SA has I can't think of anyone better or more realistic with the combo of skills, talent, contract & likelihood of being traded.

I almost wouldn't hate using Mills and Diaw on Tyson Chandler -- especially if the Suns threw in 28. If the Spurs could work with Boris on the timing of his guaranteed money, they might be able to use $14 Million in cap space before having to ink the deal, giving them a tiny bit more flexibility than they used to have.

Tyson on a good team can still have value for sure. Would be a massive frontline with LMA/Tyson/Kawhi and still excellent on defense.

Yeah, re-sign and add in two of Beasley, Brogdon and Bembry. The only issue would be that there'd be nothing in way to a bench for the front court.
PG: Parker, Miller,
SG: Green, Gordon
SF: Leonard, Anderson
PF: Aldridge,
C: Chandler,
Probably have to hope that guys like Birdman will come along cheaply. And there'd be a ton of small-ball.

Anderson is probably going to have to be used to get something of quality back. But with Bertans coming it should be no loss.

Chandler has to play w/ a PnR point guard to be effective, he would be struggling in an ISO heavy offense unless PATFO pick up a Manu replacement who can run PnRs: Lin?

Lin's subpar defence makes him a better candidate to come off the bench than to start.
