ah, Milly Vailli, one the greatest jokey pokes in the eye of the pop music business.

The pop music business and fans reacted with such self-righteous indignation, as if the entire pop music business were true, honest, authentic, sacred.

How dare Milly Vanilli use lip-sync, artifice, and mis-representation to make music and money!! Shocked, SHOCKED!!

:lol

That's no excuse. They are from Europe (and they are probably the greatest contribution to music that Germany and France (?) have given us in the past 50 years. :lol :lol )

In all seriousness, Milli Vanilli has got to be a top contender for one of the world's worst musical acts (no pun intended) ever, not just because they lip-synced, but because they lip-synced and yet still sucked.

Jessica Simpson sings? I thought she just worked in a bikini carwash.
I'm not even sure if I've ever heard ONE Jessica Simpson song. :lol

:lol

When they first started playing her songs on the radio, there was one or two that I liked. Now everything she sings sounds like she's trying to impersonate Marilyn Monroe singing "Happy Birthday to You" to JFK. It's annoying.

:fro

I think she is the one that got busted with lip sync recently...

Wasn't that Ashley Simpson? Same family, equal lack of talent. :)

sadly, one of those guys had a mental breakdown after everything hit the fan. He became severely depressed, destitute, and died of a drug overdose (possibly suicide, I'm not sure)
