Fuck no. :lol

It would be a lot closer competitive wise but Thunder would have been able to win the series.

OKC would have mauled this Cleveland team. They choked a title away.

This year was a litmus test on Durant and Westbrook's championship mettle. They will never again sniff the opportunity, unless they wind up as role players on another team somewhere down the line. But that's not their style, is it?

It was obvious Game 6 of the WCF was the NBA championship at the time. I still don't know why OKC got so conservative, trying to run clock with 4:30 left. Everything they were doing up until then was working brilliantly, why did they go away from that offense? For all the great adjustments Donovan made in the Spurs series and even in the Warriors series, he really shit the bed by not calling timeout and telling them to run the offense instead of the iso hold the ball and run the clock crap that cost them a title. He got scared when he was about to close the deal. There is no way Cleveland would have any shot against OKC.

It was pucker time like in "Armageddon." Willis didn't hesitate like Donovan did:::

Longhorn basketball players aren't all bad, tbh. Boobie Gibson did win the 2007 Finals MVP, after all.

I think it could be even worse than agasint GSW...

Definitely would've been favorites to win the Finals if they got there. However, they're prone to blowing late leads because the mental fortitude seems to elude this team as currently constructed. It would, however, be more closer than the first 2 games have indicated. Golden State has had Cleveland's number going on 2 seasons now. What a waste of time though. Hoping it would be competitive and its just been another coronation for the Warriors up to this point. I think this thing still goes 6 but I may be totally wrong on that estimation.

Don't forget the five-time NBA champion, seven-time All-Star and Hall of Famer Slater Martin, tbh.

Even if the Spurs had got by the Thunder they weren't going to beat the Warriors with the rotations Pop was using.

Not true. To get by OKC would have required excellence. They would have stabilized on that excellence and brought it to bear Vs. State.

Not necessarily. The Spurs could have lucked by the Thunder if a few more shots go in at the end of the game.
