I'm betting on a cardiac event. Very sad situation. He was only 46.

Wow, first Jerome Kersey, now Sean Rooks. It doesn't seem like it was that long ago I was watching these guys play. Sad news, RIP Sean.

Many of you know I'm an Arizona fanatic from the college forum. This has absolutely devastated the community. Rooks was beloved as a Wildcat, but above all as a person. Look at the NBA player reactions to his passing. Young, old, everyone respected him as a player and person. Truly a good person who is gone far too soon.

Really wish his son, Kameron, a C with Cal, was with the Arizona family right now. Such an incredible family environment and everyone loved his dad.

Best wishes to his family.

Big loss. Had a bright future. Didn't fit Colangelo mold for big men, but he was one of the most efficient post players in Arizona history, and was really gaining a reputation as someone who could develop talent in the fundamentals lost in a lot of the modern AAU and college game.
