Last war they won is when they bombed the banana republic of Panama and incinerated 20,000 panamanian civilians tbqh

all that just to get 1 drug dealer (supposedly) the actual truth had to do with the Panama Canal

already won when its not fought on your home turf, where rebuilding is going costs you trillions, t hen again the govt doesnt give a shit about rebuilding after natural disasters anyway, so i doubt they fix those cities that turn to dusts. ....

already costs you trillions with the fake ass war on terrorism,

next could be economic warfare, but we all know sanctions and shit dont mean shit when ur allies are dealing behind ur backs with the enemy, if america is foreal, pull out all manufacturing jobs and go back to ur natural roots what once made american products worth buying....

We actually won the war against the then-recognized state of Iraq (i.e., Saddam's regime). What we "lost" was the occupation of the post-Saddam Iraq because you can't win a civil war when you're the third-party stuck in the middle... that's a war lost before it has begun.

We can win if we have the Russians doing the heavy lifting.

They lost Vietnam because fat Americans can't get through those nasty close space jungles.

They lost Iraq because it's a desert. The sun is the white man's worst nightmare

Korean War was a win if you ask any Southerner.

So Assad gives a rah-rah speech and you come with this shit. Palmyra is the last stop to Damascus and it took them years and the Russian military to get it back. Aleppo is being squeezed by Al Nusra jihadists and the Sunni backed FSA in the north. Hezbollah controls the west coming out or Lebanon else he wouldn't have that either.

In his speech he claims its the Turks backing the rebels. Apparently we have spooks and special forces over there but I would hardly call it an engagement that we have been anything more than arms length from.

As for the US military the strategy of your 'winners' has been to hide until we leave. Name the battles we've lost. The issue has been strategic planning from our civilian leadership. LBJ and Bush in particular were morons when it came to military strategy. Running tactical operations out of the oval office, blackballing baathists prejudicially, and thinking the Muslim World is ready for a pluralist democracy are all major strategic fuckups. Combine that with a populace that doesn't want to fight our corporate overlord's wars and you get what you get.

Meanwhile reformists dominated the last Iranian election.

This is pretty ignorant and dumbed down. Ostensibly it was about getting to the Panamanian banks that were being used to launder the Andean cartels money. The whole drug was was about US capital going south. We got the it back too.

The lease on the panamanian canal was also an issue. War is typically a complex issue particularly out of pluralist society.
