Copa America is more entertaining than this shitty ass Finals :lol

Cavs-GSW has been a dud matchup for the past two seasons really...it only got interesting a bit in last years Finals because Cleveland mucked it up when shorthanded..hope this is last time they meet there..

You obviously haven't been watching long or have a taste for some reallly bad games some years, like 2002 if you go back that far.

I have been watching basketball since '91 and I would say sweeps tend to be the worst finals. I have witness 3 sweeps in Magic-Rockets,Nets-Lakers,Spurs-Cavs. This will probably be the worst one from an entertainment standpoint since the margin of victory at the rate its going will be the highest ever for a finals sweep.

It doesnt seem like a finals series

cavs arent trying because they already quit and the warriors are taking it easy, the effort and sense of urgency isnt there and thats why its been boring tbh

The finals is ok entertainment. It's still good teams. It's boring if you want close games but you can watch gsw play just from the vantage point of watching a historically great team.

Also, I'm a LeBron hater. This series is aces!

The other sweeps were at least competitive. The Rockets/Magic series was entertaining with clutch shots and meltdowns (Nick Anderson :lol). The Spurs/Cavs shouldn't have even been as competitive as it was but those games were going down to the final minute as well. I don't remember much about the Lakers/Nets.

07 Finals were horrible, the Cavs were outmatched, and the game went to a crawl .... The entire series was about the Spurs sagging off of Lebron and daring him to brick shots.

02 Finals was about Shaq dunking all over the place. 00 was pretty bad with the Lakers vs. the Pacers, the only entertainment of that series was to see the dominance of Austin Croschere.

06 was bad, with one of the most obvious rigs in Finals history not involving the Lakers. It was about Wade shooting FTs.

10 Finals was bad as well, Lakers struggling to close out a limping Celtics team was embarrassing

That said, this year is the only year where I didn't even bother to check the games. it's a foregone conclusion, and I am sick of hearing about the Warriors being historically great, when the fact is that the league is historically bad.

I watched Game 1 in its entirety and realized it was a waste of time. Haven't even bothered watching the rest of the games all the way through. Western Conference Finals was the legit Finals and should be that way for the next foreseeable years.

The more GSW outscore CLE, the higher the chances the NBA does something regarding the conferences, or the playoffs seeding.

3 out of 4 of the games in the Lakers/Nets series were decided by only a few points. There was only one blowout in that series. I do agree with the Rockets/Magic being the most entertaining sweep.

Watching the greatest team of all-time operate is basketball at it's finest, tbh..

I didn't watch the 2000 and 2002 Finals, so can't comment, but the worst Finals I've ever watched(from an aesthetic standpoint):

1. 1998 Finals
2. 2010 Finals
3. 2007 Finals
4. 2003 Finals
5. 1997 Finals

2000 wasnt bad especially the games 2-5... the one where shaq fouled out and went to OT is in heavy rotation on NBA classics.

yep. No Heat vs. Spurs in 2013 but comapred to the last three that was a masterpiece.

So what, the Lakers were just toying with them and I rememeber thinking that at the time.

Same.

What's worse, it's easily the most likely match-up next season and even if/when Love is traded for pieces that match-up better, it's difficult to envision that altering the outcome, especially with James another year older.

The lack of a challenge makes it boring. OKC vs. GSW was an interesting and thrilling series.
The league should do something about the seeding bc seeing Lebron lose season after season will get to be a real bore and it already is.

Yup...Dubs will probably eclipse the 2014 Spurs' CMOV of 70 points in the Finals, and do it in one fewer game.

If I had to pick a top 5 Finals I have seen they'd be

1. 1988 Lakers over Pistons
2. 1984 Celtics over Lakers
3. 2013 Heat over Spurs
4. 2014 Spurs over Heat
5. 1986 Celtics over Rockets

Bottom five would be
1. 2007 Spurs over Cavs
2. 1994 Rockets over Knicks
3. 2002 Lakers over Nets
4. 2003 Spurs over Nets
5. 1989 Pistons over Lakers
