1. Andre Iguodala - Everything this guy does is a net-plus for the Dubs...sure, he's not a superstar, but he rarely has a bad game and is tailor-made to play the Cavs. His Game 4 boxscore wasn't sexy but every stat on there came at a critical juncture. Guy was taking contested threes without hesitation too and knocking them down.

2. Klay Thompson - Struggling offensively this series, but has picked up his play on the defensive end. I put him here because I'm still in awe of Game 6 (and 7) of the WCF--the only reason GSW is still playing. He also had a strong Game 4 w/o stat-padding in what will ultimately prove to be the back-breaker game. His presence (much like Curry's) is also something you can't find in a boxscore--him just being on the floor scares the shit out of the defense and opens up passing lanes.

3. Stephen Curry - Despite the stat-padding at the end of Game 4 he still had a tremendous game and returned to form. As mentioned earlier with KT, his presence on the perimeter just opens everything up on offense. Add his dribble penetration and he's deadly. Even when he was rejected in the paint 2-3 times last night he remained undaunted and kept attacking.

4. Draymond Green - He should be suspended for Game 5, but he's obviously had a huge impact on both sides of the floor, and is now living rent-free in LBJ's head. I think people were jizzing themselves a little too much after Game 2, but all those opens 3's were a product of the splash brothers. He;s a Swiss army knife of a player but at the end of the day he's the beneficiary of a lot of what the Splash Brothers do.

5. Harrison Barnes - Although he has some flaws in his game, it seems like every shot or rebound he makes either gets the team going, or deflates the defense at a critical time.

Whether you like "Today's NBA" or not, I've never seen a team like this before. Even, Livingston, Barbosa, McAdoo, Varejao, and Bogut (in limited minutes) are having an impact. Is there any player on this team who isn't at peak confidence right now?

Klay Thompson has been their best playoff performer by a landslide, he deserves recognition.

Bron/Aussie guy Kyrie
Dray
Klaymond
Curry

Dray probably not now due to missing. Kyrie has had 3 big games. Bron is beasting, his stats are insane.

Then again the voters might very well vote for Draymond because the award is MOST VALUABLE and his lack of presence in game 5 cost the Warriors a 15 point home loss, their largest in 3 years (regular season or playoffs), in an arena they'd only lost in 3 times before (counting playoffs) to this point.

I still vote Thompson over Eliancito though

The NBA doesn't get more money since the TV rights are pre-paid before the season starts, it's the TV broadcasters/teams that benefit from more games.

Only, Boogie Cousins was still in the womb in 2002.

However, the more money that ABC/Disney makes= more money the NBA can seek the next time broadcasting rights are up for bidding. A more popular product will create the more competition. So it does in a way make the league more money. Just not right now, right now.

Only, Boogie Cousins was still in the womb in 2002. Are you referring to the figurative womb? Or the literal womb? Because he would be one tall 14-yr old...not to mention the richest 14-year old this side of Annie Warbucks.

Yep. He perpetually acts like the 14 year old that can't stay out of his principal's office.
