They were still winning Prem titles and making UCL appearances after Ronaldo was sold.

I know you're trying to prop up Cristiano, but Fergie is the engine that drove United, no matter who the pieces were.

Mourinho isn't the type of manager who's afraid to conduct a roster shake-up, so I now kinda expect Rooney to be benched a game or two when he's playing horribly, like what his form has been for the past two years now

If they want to win, they can't keep playing Rooney, Fellaini, Mata, and Carrick. Besides DDG they don't have a world class player... They need one or they'll become Liverpool.

they need to get rid of rooney asap, cause atm the system and team is still built around him when his pass his prime and declining

As many finals as midget choked for Argentina, you should know by now that making the finals =/= actually holding up the trophy.

Yeah, pretty hard, 3 of the 5 best players leaving! But 100 million for those guys (all just 1 year left on contracts!) is pretty good. And, as you mentioned earlier, a lot of interesting new signings...
