I thought this was a good take by Mohammed. Worth a read.

Great article. Can't even imagine the amount of pressure on Timmy, Manu etc for that game 7 in 2005.

Yeah, remember I was nervous as hell too on that day, 11 years ago

I really didn’t want to shoot the ball unless it was a dunk (lol).

:lol That's funny and cool that he admits this.

Thanks TTM, great article. :tu

That series is widely denigrated for being boring and defensive, but games 5 and 7 were superb. Horry's 21pts in 18 mins with a bad shoulder saved game 5, but Timmy's grit in the 3rd in game 7 to get us back in the game was also something I'll never forget.

He was also on two bad ankles.

I was at Game 7 2005.

With 2:50 to go in this Game 7 (as I write this), and tied, this one is just as good. (Thank God I don'e care who wins. :))

You must've been pretty worried when Spurs were down 8 in the middle of the 3rd (which felt like 18 against that Pistons D) and nothing was going right. But Timmy just kept grinding and grinding and turned it around - that 3rd quarter is a study in tenacity.
