:lol If the Heat didn't score for the last 4 1/2 minutes of game 6...we wouldn't be having this conversation.
Just another reason why the Warriors choked harder.

You've been continuously salty since State pulled off the biggest choke in NBA history.
It's because 6 is a long forgotten memory and media and fans will forever remember State's collapse. We won't even be a footnote, and it has you snortin'.
media never remembered it 5 minutes after '13 ended. Please. The conspiracy succeeded everywhere cept here.
The same Media herded the masses the last 48 hours where they wanted them to go---and you went there as herded.
Damn right it has me snortin'.

Youre forgetting both Ginobili and Kawhi missed free throws.
And they gave up offensive rebounds two possessions in a row. I didnt even realize how bad Kawhi choked till reading this from grantland:
Already crunched the numbers, and the confluence of those unlikely events that drove the Heat comeback had a 1 in 400 chance of happening.
The Warriors going scoreless over the last 4:30 minutes had a chance a 1 in 1500 chance in happening.
No one, not media, not fans consider the Spurs choke a bigger one. And the numbers back that contention, as well.
You and your buddy Cub are fighting a lone fight.
Keep at it, champ. It's amusing to see you spin.

Yeah...the guy famous for making up his own numbers (or just getting it wrong) "crunched some numbers" and it came out to exactly a 1 in 1500 chance, huh?!!

So you werent even "kind of close" with your 1/400 odds on the Heat comeback. Im guessing (as usual) you were WAY OFF on the Warriors choke as well.
You are seriously the worst. How many times is that now?

The Warriors missed 5 three pointers and two field goals in the final four minutes. If we assume they were 40% from three and 50% from two (being generous) then the odds of that happening are: 0.01944.
Or 1.9% chance.
Thus, statistically, its a mathematical fact the Spurs choke was not just worse than the Warriors, it was a lot worse.

Dude the sad thing is that you put in all this work to prove a point that no one on this board will take serious or remember by next week.

I don't even know if what happened to San Antonio in Game 6 even qualifies as a "choke." A five-point lead really isn't all that big, even with under 30 seconds to play. A couple of three-pointers sandwiched around a free throw- that's all it is. Not much. And it isn't as if the Spurs did anything egregious in that stretch. They missed a couple of free throws but there were no awful turnovers, no Nick Anderson-type meltdowns at the line- they failed to grab a couple of rebounds and Miami hit a couple of big shots. Earlier this season the Cavaliers had a four-point lead on the Celtics with ten seconds left and wound up losing when they gave up an and-one, failed to secure the rebound off the missed free throw and Avery Bradley hit a three-pointer at the buzzer. Things like that happen sometimes in basketball.
What doesn't happen is a 73-win team blowing a 3-1 lead while losing its last two games at home. That's almost impossible to comprehend. I'd like to believe the Cavaliers won it more than the Warriors lost it, but when you lose a series like that, under those circumstances, that's a choke for the ages.
Mathematically, what the Spurs did was a choke. Teams in that position go on to win 99.9% of the time.

Nice bump.
da_suns_fan obviously didn't even watch game 7 of the NBA Finals. He then comes on here to bash the Spurs about 6. 73-9 record...Up 3-1 with two home games left...having your two worst home 4th Qs in back to back games....not scoring for the last 4 1/2 minutes of game 7...etc.
That's the biggest choke EVER. EVER.

thats nonsense seeing as their "choke job" was facilitated by the NBA suspending draymond for standing up. I as were most people I know were shocked when the league even mentioned they were looking at the play, seeing as how I expected draymond to punch lebrun for walking over him I thought he restrained himself by just standing up, and actually applauded him for keeping his cool. He didn't hit lebrun in the nuts lebrun put his nuts on him,and they suspend him for game 5 of the finals. if you want to suspend guys over bullshit wait until the beginning of the season don't affect the outcome of the finals be decided because of some bullshit, but they wanted 7 games and they got it.

Yeah, I'm sure the NBA wanted to see their biggest cash cow since the Shaqorry Lakers lose to fucking Cleveland in the Finals :lmao
Never mind the fact that the Warriors also choked in Games 6 and 7, just keep playing the "suspension" card to excuse it away like a true sore-loser faggot.

yeah, cleveland hit the big shots and made the plays to squeak out game 7...but if draymond plays in game 5 I don't think there would of been a game 6...and curry not being 100% also factored into his lack of explosiveness, not an excuse but it was a factor ...but the cavs deserve credit for making clutch plays when it counts..i just think its funny how many people hate the warriors now lol for 20 years nobody gave a damn about them now all of a sudden they are hated by so many its different being on that side of the ball but whatever hate on
