I don't understand why people say his defense is stellar, its just as average as it can get from what I saw in the playoffs. Not to mention any finishing around the rim he has is just him either throwing it up there or getting open because of a screen from a teammate, or a back cut; he can't create on his own when driving (again, in the playoffs).

Klay is a decent defender. The nba makes klay and draymond great defenders by allowing them to handcheck, grab, etc.

Easy to contain penetration and be a great defender if your given a green light to foul most of the time

I saw some clips on YouTube, he works hard to stay in front of his man but he reminds me of Danny a bit in that he mainly checks the smaller point guards like CP3 and Dame, but I don't think he's elite at it. He's decent and solid enough at it though. Still haven't seen his great ability to finish around the rim though.
