Players that have a realistic chance of winning due to a good combination of Team wins and individual performance. I Bolded a percentage to give you guys a general idea of their chances, Imo.

1. Curry - Very Unlikely with how Golden state played without him and how Thompson and Draymond outplaying him in two consecutive series. A massive dick riding has to ensue for it to happen. Plus, he's won two straight. Voters Fatigue will be a huge factor. His team will most likely win 65+ games though. 5%

2. Kawhi - His team will most likely win 55+ games again. The biggest thing going for Kawhi next year is that he's 25 and just finished second last year in MVP voting. If he can up his scoring to 23 and the spurs win 60+ again, he's going to have a strong chance of winning...It makes most sense to hype him up considering he's the youngest out of the Elite tier players. 15%

3. Lebron - Best Player in the league. I expect the media to try to make up for their mistake of proclaiming curry as the legit best player in the league. He also hasn't won for quite a while. If he plays a healthy amount of games and the Cavs finish with 55+ again, He should be the favourite imo. 40%

4. Russell Westbrook - If Durant leaves and Westbrook maintains his level play plus the thunder win 55+ without KD he would be the second to Lebron, Imo...If Durant stays, He's never going to win one. Just the way it is. He's going to get legit votes still though even if he doesn't win. 5%

5. Kevin Durant - Durant has all the narrative behind him to win another MVP. If he chooses to leave OKC and plays for Boston, Atlanta etc..with these respective teams winning 55+. He will win for sure. If he decides to stay, he will be second to Lebron. If he Signs with SAS or GSW...He's not going to win specially since these teams won more than 65+ the previous season. 30%

6. Chris Paul - If he can play at the same level this year, he should be able to rack up enough points to be a candidate. If the Clippers can win 60+, he's going to be a legit candidate. Most likely finish third behind Lebron, KD. 5%

7. James Harden - I can't see them winning more than 50 next year so very unlikely...voters would probably start thinking that everything was on dwight if they win 50+. 5%

third tier stars or Not the best players for their respective teams that have zero chance...

Lowry, Aldridge, Wall, George, Draymond, Cousins, Irving etc....

I think Westbrook or Durant will get it; they will go balls to the wall for top seed in maybe their last run together in OKC uniform...

Lebron will coast even more now..Spurs and Warriors won't give a lot of crap about reg season record after what happened to them this year, especially with regard Curry's health (Kerr will have a bigger say in his minutes for '16-'17)..

i dont think curry could do anything to mvp again...how can he eclipse this year rs? shoot more 3s from full court?

they didnt hand one out for kobe in 06, what makes u think they hand one out to wb on a inferior record?

for the last 2 years, this pos has been padding his stats aka triple doubles in the 2nd half of the season to get his name out.... nothing more then empty stats man to get attention

14/15 curry/harden
15/16 curry/kl

now how many of them guys got more then 5 triple doubles between them? none...
so wb can continue to pad triple doubles, nobody is going to take notice of it cause all his doing is padding stats

Kawhi ain't winning that shit. He got voted over Bron once in the MVP race, media won't make that stupid mistake again. Might as well put his name in the bottom

You underestimated Kawhi's % and overestimated Lebron's. Don't base your prediction on this year's playoffs. Lebron will decline a bit, and Kawhi will ascend.

I really based off everything from a narrative standpoint tbh. You could be right though.

You can blame Duncan for being homosexual, but, not for being old.

Kawhi and Westbrook would be the frontrunners based on their youth and voters favoring first time winners. LMA has to be a dark horse candidate the way he came on the last couple months.

Then he pulled a (Portland) the lastest couple games.

kirbs should get serious consideration. The kind of positive impact his retirement will have on the lakers will be matched by few in the league tbh

Not if the team sucks again. It's going to be a very interesting offseason for the Pels, starting with Thursday night.

ASI said last year Davis will not win it ...not because he wont put up the numbers if healthy ....
But to win it ,you need at least a top 2 finish in the conference and a top 3 finish in the league.
Most of the time you need to finish at least first in your own conference ...

NOLA will not be a top 2 team
My guess they dont finish top 4 .
No way he wins it as a 5th seed.

Curry is still the odds on favorite. He can score in bunches and that's what fans like and media likes fans.

It should be Lebron every year but the MJ affect took hold some time ago.

Both are biological responses. Neither are by choice. Ergo you can't blame Duncan if he's homosexual, you can only accuse him of it. You can also accuse him of being old.

That's the rumor. I ain't buying it. Homosexuality is a sexual state, nothing more.

What you do about it is your choice, mostly. What you feel you want to do isn't. Homosexuality is about your preference, not your actions. Otherwise everyone in prison is homosexual.

Context Dale. You called Tim a homosexual and said you could blame him for it. You said you can't blame him for being old. The two are out of his control, one as much as the other.

Just admit you're wrong and parrot the "selling your shit" thing. Why drag it out?

That's the first guy I thought of. If he stays healthy this should be his breakout year.

Because I'm not wrong. You're wrong. And you've never admitted such.
