Ugh. Payton will be better, I think. But I need to watch more Murray.

Not overwhelmed by the Spurs' picking a guard who cannot shoot. This guy seems like a better prospect.
He's a project like CoJo & will be spending his 1st year in the D-League.

Boston sending picks 31 and 35 to Memphis for a 2019 1st round pick.

(https://twitter.com/WojVerticalNBA) Golden State will select Vanderbilt center Damian Jones with the 30th and final pick of the first-round, league sources tell @TheVertical (https://twitter.com/TheVertical/).
That guy was destroyed by AJ Hammons. But whatever floats Lacob's boat...

19 yr old Murray has All-Star potential while 23 year old Payton is NBA ready as a defender but is 2013 CoJo status on offense.:lol

:lol Porker just lost his job.
Porkerstans BTFO!
He's more like a future Manu replacement & has the size to play alongside a point guard.

I love Murray's ability to penetrate. People don't realize how important that is to the team's offense. They talk about a PnR big, but the team really needs a guard who can threaten defenses so the bigs can get open. Murray looks like he can do that. The shooting well come (hell, it's not like he's a rotation player this season), but players don't usually learn to penetrate like that.

Love it. Spurs need guard depth and this could be a good pick up for the future. Already like him more than Fivehead.

Also probably didn't need to draft a big when Ibeh will likely go undrafted and the spurs can try him out.

Thought a deal like that had to exist - boston had too many picks...

GS got my boy Pat McCaw for cash :(
Can't believe the Bucks drafted Taribo West II with their lottery pick seriously.

Too bad. I think he will do well with GS too. But i'm happy with the Spurs pick regardless.
Hm doesn't feel like a draft night until the Spurs pick a guy in the second round to stash overseas. Cornelie is still around.

Don't get me wrong I am excited about Murray. Trade Mills for a second to get a kid like Mccaw. Murray can play behind TP for a year then jettison TP

I thought he'd be gone. But no one good for 23 year olds.

I know, I just wanted to see a little trade. But Cornelie is gone now anyway.

Same reason a lot of guys move all-in constantly, playing poker. They're afraid to play out the hand.

SaGirl was her pick
^^ :tu I was pumped up for this guy back in Feb or March. I didn't think we had a chance at him since he was projected in the lottery. He's very young though and wouldn't help right away so I couldn't see the Spurs making a play to get him. Yet here he is. :clap High risk high reward pick.
