Day and night better than Waiters...

Assuming they resign Durant, Okc is better than SA right now

Hard to believe okc would win losing ibaka, but Dang. Adams makes him very expendable, and they got a good young player in Victor to replace waiters. They're looking good but this light play against Durant.. weren't they good friends? This will make it interesting, that's right.

Either KD ok'd this or they're simply preparing for life without Domino's.

That's what I'm thinking. Maybe golden state is a more legitimate option than we know for Durant?

How often does Durant get the ball with Westbrook and Oladipo?

There are rumors swirling the Clippers may also play a huge role in the KD FA sweepstake...

Ola will most likely lead the second unit, Roberson starts.

And Durant won't be playing the 4 full time.

He is a chucker. 16 points on 13.5 shots, in 33 minutes a game. And barely 4 assists per game. That is not good.

This is why you can't simply rely on stats without context. I bet under a better system, Oladipo will flourish much especially as a third option. You just can't gloss over his situation in Orlando. Anyway, Magic fans are on record Victor is a really good player, and this is after the trade. I'll leave it at that.

Not really
Ibaka's numbers. That's my point.. this nigga didnt' have an off year, he's actually ~33 years old and out of his prime already.

AlexJones

A lot of the Ibaka apologists are citing his floor-spacing and shooting ability, but he shot .324 from 3PT in the reg. season. They only watched him in the playoffs where he fluked into Ray Allen mode against the Spurs (like he usually does)

Still, they still get worse defensively. And there is no one to play the 4.

The comparisons to Waiters are so spot on.

Player A - 6'4" 220 lbs
15.9 ppg, 3 assists, 36% from 3s, 1.3 threes/game 43% from the field

Player B - 6'4" 210 lbs
16 ppg, 3.9 assists, 34% from 3s, 1.4 threes/game, 43% from the field

Player A is Waiters last season when he was the 2nd scoring option
Player B is Oladipo last year

If we could get a purse 'chopped in there we'd have a realistic preview of Laker Durant.

Oladpio is one of the best perimeter defenders in the league and dude is young and promising, not to say OKC also got the rights to Sabonis. Ibaka was huge for them back in 2012 but he's been going downhill in recent years, and the emergences of Adams and Kanter further reduce his significance on this team imho. OKC will always be a legit playoff team as long as they have Durant and Westbrook, probably never a real championship contender though.
