I like Astros, Cards, Angels and Red Sox.

The Astros' pitching is just too good, I like Astros in 5

The Cardinals can be tested in the games that Peavy pitches, but this will be a sweep or at best a 4 games and out for the Padres.

Yankees have problems with the Angels and with the fact that they had to fly across country after drinking champagne on Sat makes me think that the Angels have the edge here. I like LA in 5.

Boston vs Chicago

Good matchup for Chicago as they do well against mediocre pitching.

I was not sure about this battle of the socks, so I did a little test. I washed a pair of white socks and a pair of red socks yesterday and when done, the red socks looked great, but my white socks came out all pink, and unwearable....so therefore, I like the Red Sox in 5. :angel

Astros vs. Braves:

Braves in 5

Both are gutsy teams with great managers in good 'pens. But Andruw Jones gives ATL the edge.

Pads vs Cards:

Cards in 3

Any other playoff team can sweep the NL Worst's Best. Cards will murder the Pads.

BoSox vs. White Sox:

BoSox in 5

Although the White Sox began to show signs of crumbling late in the season, they did just sweep the hottest team in baseball (The Tribe). However, Ortiz and Ramirez are too much offense for the small ball White Sox to keep up with.

Yankees vs. Angels:

Yankees in 5

Very, very tough series here, but I give the edge to the Yankees because I think Rivera is better than K-Rod. Never count out the Yankees mystique.

ALCS (BoSox vs. Yankees):

Yankees in 6

Torre will not let what happened last year happen this year. However, I think with Rivera, you still have to give the Yankees the edge. Rivera gets his revenge.

NLCS (Braves vs. Cards):

Cards in 7

Cards get overconfident at the beginning and will under-estimate the Braves, so this will go down to 7.

World Series (Yankees vs. Cards):

Yankees in 7

In a World Series for the ages, the Yankees pull-off a dramatic championship by overcoming a 3-0 deficit the same way Boston did in the 2004 ALCS. Everyone forgets about what happened in 2004, and the Yankees return to glory and reign over the MLB for the 27th time.

World Series MVP is A-Rod. :)

Actually, I would be happy if either won it all...so it would be a no lose situation.

Yeah, it would be bad ass. There is a good chance it could happen if Astros step-up.

Hell yeah I'm a fan, but I'm objective also. The Astros have a shot with their pitching, I just don't know that I trust the offense.

I'm proud as hell that they made the Playoffs with the team they have, especially after starting 15-30. But I don't think it would be an upset for the Braves to beat them by any means.

It'll be close. We'll see.

And yes, Reverse Mojo does have some bearing on my pick.

IŽll do the NL:

Astros over Braves in 4.
Cards over Pads in 3.

Cards over Astros in 6.

Cards will lose to any AL opponent in anything from a sweep to 6. They will not go the distance.
