I believe the Spurs were going to draft him, but he went to Portland who selected him before the Spurs could. He seems like a good fit for the team. Has anyone heard or read anything about the Spurs possibly signing him?

Yep. Nobody can sign yet, but they have a deal. It's done... unless the deal is with the Mavs. Then you can back out. :lol

Charlotte offered him a 5-year/$120 million deal...don't think we'll be seeing him in a Spurs uniform any time soon :lol

But ironically, a pretty healthy chuck below the max he could have received. I think his max was around 150M - he actually did CHA a favor as crazy as that sounds.

Depends on how people view Fisher's five rings. I'm too much of a homer to concede that to Fisher though. Parker has a finals MVP and more winning seasons so that's got to be some sort of edge.
