At the absolute peak of your basketball career, whenever that might be....
(Picture Al Bundy on couch reminiscing about scoring 4 touchdowns in a high school football game)
What would you be paid today?

Whether you played in college or not, or if you've balled with NBA players (or not), and some of us have, feel free to post.

A half-empty bottle of Heinz Sweet Relish and some of Boris Diaw's pocket lint might be about right.

After all, I used to be the king of unguarded reverse layups. It was quite a sight seeing me get 80% of the rebounds over the short Asian guys I used to play pickup games with.

Are we saying relative to my competition what we would get paid? I'm assuming so since none of us are good enough to get even a summer league invite, obviously:lol

id say 10-12 mil at my peak.

How do you like the Bud Norris pickup for the Dodgers?

He's OK-- better than replacement level. Dodgers have been very unlucky this season, they've won about 6 fewer games than they should have based on underlying stats+schedule. Even without Kershaw, they won't sink.

I could stay in front of a dribbling Mozgov.
I could post up Isaiah Thomas.
I could hit about 30% from three.

Guess I could get a minimum deal.

Wow, that didn't take long...Phil Jackson just called and wants to max me out.

I declined, as the Spurs are the only team, I want to play for (and RC won't call EVER).

If I would have perused basketball who knows, I used to be a pretty good shooter. Probably dleague at best though tbh, its still incredibly hard to get and stay on a NBA roster.
