Strange... I'm not seeing what the Hawks are trying to accomplish. If Horford stays and plays PF beside Howard, do they trade Millsap, their best player?

I wonder if a starting lineup of Thomas / Bradley / Durant / Sullinger / Horford with Crowder / Smart / Zeller off the bench could get KD to beantown? No way they can keep Amir Johnson though if they land Durant.

I like Horford as a player, but almost $30 million a year into his late 30s? Seems to me that Ainge got turned down by Durbeta as expected and threw all his money at Horford to save face. That team will still be lucky to win a playoff series.

Celtics going to have a pretty good east team, hopefully Jaylen pans out. Thats setup a few years ago is paying off.

Is that true or is Woj trying to save face? $6 million is not a lot in today's cap,

Amir's contract is a non-guarantee until July 7th so they will waive him if they can land KD.

So do I. They're my 2nd favorite team. And they will taste 18 before you taste 12 (unless you think 12 is an underage boy, in which you've probably already gone there)

After the Hawks (http://www.cbssports.com/nba/teams/page/ATL/atlanta-hawks) beat the Celtics in Game 1 of their Eastern Conference first-round series, Heinsohn was talking about the positives Boston could take from that game, including their second-half comeback. On top of that, Heinsohn said, the Celtics should feel good because the Hawks' best player in Game 1 was Al Hoford, who Heinsohn said was "not a great player."
“They (the Celtics) had to be totally despondent going into the locker room. The fact that they turned it around shows what kind of heart this basketball team has. That is the encouraging part. The additional encouraging part is if they can go out and stay aggressive at both ends of the floor, they can beat this team because (Al) Horford, as much as you think he’s a great player, he’s not a great player. Get a man on him and he has trouble scoring.”

Why are they fighting over 6 mill when that can't even land you a scrub under the new CBA?:lol

I agree, although I like both. These contracts are still blowing my mind. A couple of stars hogging up caps on teams and teams relying on minimums for rest of roster, like what the clippers would have to do to get kd

Of course they will. It might take 10 years, but my Celts will hoist 18 before you hoist 12.
They've built a powerhouse base to work from.

Heinsohn is the worst homer out there! He'll be singing Horford's praises all year.
Is this enough to lure Durant? I doubt it.
