The Spurs still have to focus on the Clippers, though losing Green is a blow for them. Not because he's good, but because they had his bird rights and no means with which to replace him. Also, the combination of Johnson and Mbah a Moute provides a safe hiding place for Parker and the addition of Gasol means a difficult match-up for Griffin either way.

Stranger things have happened. The Spurs definitely could make another run for a title because they are exactly where they want to be: UNDER THE RADAR.
