As our starting PG next season? Thoughts? Haven't seen him play much since he was traded.

Tbh looking at next seasons free agent PGs he might be the only realistic option.

I spoke to him about this the other day, he's excited for Utah. But his two best friends PG (not Paul George) and David (not Robinson) really hope he can come back to Texas as they are from San Antonio.

The number of crappy threads in this place is mind boggling.

Hearing the Spurs want him back. George wants to come back, as well next summer when he's a free agent...

Paul George is not a permanent fix, just a crappy patch.

Unless Murray pans out what other options does this team have to upgrade at PG next season?

While Porker is still on the team there is no chance to improvement.
By playoff time TPork will be playing 35 minutes per game, we are fucked.

Not sure if serious but if so that's awesome. He'd fit right in.

Chris Paul is going to opt-out next Summer & Spurs are the only contender that need his services.:wakeup

They have to severely overpay him since the Jazz are going to offer him at least 20 mill.

I don't mind Hill as a player, but he can't dribble or pass, he's not a PG:lol

Not good enough. We need Westbrook or CP3.

Is he willing to leave money on the table b/c PATFO aren't breaking the bank for a 31 yr old role player.

That's the only thing I didn't wanna touch on, was the money. I think he would be willing to do it though, he'd like to raise his son in Texas.

Spurs are probably going to offer him the Jamal Crawford contract (3yrs/42 mill) if the cap jumps to $107-110.

Jamal Crawford isn't worth half that. Inefficient chucker that causes the rest of the bench unit to lose interest, and no defense. Hill would be much much better.

LOL... he looked too much like that fruity guy who was a backup dancer for Madonna. I couldn't stop thinking that when I saw him with that hair. :lol

Of the non-star level PG's, Hill is pretty damn steady. I'd obviously like to have even better than him, but yeah I'd be glad to have him on the team right now. Next year too, I'm sure. Like everything else, it still depends on the cost though.

Except that's what Doc Rivers gave Crawford yesterday.:lol

give me GHill back any day ... from a defensive point having Hill, Kawhi and Green on the floor sounds awesome tbh

I'd take him as a 6th man, but not as starting PG. Would 100% be on board with him back to the Spurs on that condition.

People complain about how much Parker is making - imagine if he had gotten a Crawford deal at 36 (!). At least Parker's way more efficient offensively and isn't in his late 30s starting a new deal.

Meh...Hill is really a 2 in my book. Just not a good enough shooter or big enough to justify being a 2. A tough, scrappy player, but I wouldn't make him my starting point guard. I'd rather keep this 40% version of the "player formerly known as Tony Parker" we currently are stuck with.
