Should the spurs look to aquiring Griffin next year?

Nothing to trade. As with Westbrook, wait for next offseason and spin the roulette wheel and hope it lands on your number.

Absolutely... Kyle Anderson and Boban Marjanovic should just about do it. No way the Clippers say no to that.

A pg is what we need to balance the offense.

Also to the others he said next year. That means as a free agent.

Hes got a player option next year iirc. He will opt out.

Two things...

1.) He's a PF, not a C.
2.) If the Clippers felt he was going to opt out and not re-sign, they'd trade him for a lottery pick in what is suppose to be a stacked draft class next year.

If he lasts the season with Clippers without being traded he'd be a good option to go after next summer. Him and LMA would work great offensively.

I'd've been all in for Griffin when the max made sense. But I'm not committing $35 Million to him next year. First because the Spurs might not even have that much and second because he has red flags. Now if Parker and Pau move on and the team has an outside chance to get both Russ and Blake to add to Green, Kawhi and LMA, then that's something.

ummm...did everyone forget we got LMA?

Why would we pay 2 PF max? LOL

He was a top 5 player in the league before all the dramas started last season, people forget that pretty quick.

Sadly, I wouldn't be surprised or even mad if Blake left - as long as it's not to the Lakers or Warriors, of course. The way this franchise has treated him is pure insanity. We have a generational big man who turned this franchise around, yet we're constantly dangling him in trades, throwing him under the bus for every loss, and forcing him to be the sidekick for a choke-artist diva point guard in his 30s who hopped on the bandwagon. And the drooling moron homers who make up 75% of our fanbase have jumped right on board the "Blame Blake" Express.

Griffin is fragile and he doesn't play defense. Why do we need him again?

Westbrook is a major alpha who I think is going to take this Durant thing and motivate him like crazy to elevate his team. I think he actually will stay and recruit Blake to come home. Book it.

There is no way WestBrick would compromise his touches/personality to play w/ other superstars in San Antonio of all places.:lol

He's injury prone and a drama queen. Why? What does Pop always say is a prerequisite for ANYONE who wants to be a part of the Spurs franchise? Check your ego at the door. You can just tell this guy is all about himself. Mental midget.

Blake is arguably the least egotistical member of our franchise :lol

Very few players in the league today have worked as hard as Blake has to improve so many aspects of their game. He came into the league as a raw athlete who could jump out of the gym, and now he's a polished offensive player with a reliable midrange shot and amazing handles and passing skills for a big man. Unlike our overpaid center, he also worked on his free throws so he wouldn't get hacked at the end of games anymore.

Blake has been dumped on from every angle - the front office, the coaching staff, the fans, the media, other teams' fans - yet he's never complained about any of it. Hell, he showed up to recruit Durbeta to the franchise that has done nothing but treat him like shit this summer, while the Teflon Man Choke Paul couldn't be bothered to cut his vacation short and show up himself.

Blake had one off-court incident this year and now people are acting like he's DeMarcus Cousins or something. And while punching the trainer was stupid and out-of-character for him, it pales in comparison to Porker cuckolding his own teammate or R.C. Buford driving drunk, which Spurfan just sweeps under the rug :lol

I'll take your word I mean that's your team bro so it's all good. He's not a Spur though. Maybe I don't like his sense of humor I mean he seems immature. 2 questions...Wasn't that "trainer" his friend BEFORE he got hired? Was that the same guy that was treating Blake for something on the bench and he grabbed the back of dudes head and brought him to his groin like how kids act in junior high?

I mean am I going to be a dumbfuck and say I'll stop being a Spurs fan? Of course not I'm a Spurs fan for life and Ill root for the guy...I just don't see it happening. Just like Westbrook I see him as a diva who wants the spotlight. Not a Spur. As far as RC ok that was bad.
But Parker? I know this was ClipperNation not you bro but I'm replying on here. Come on BOTH marriages were done. We always blame the "other guy" but why would she even be messing around if Barry was taking care of home?
Teammates wives are off limits...but you really think TP approached her? Bullshit she wanted it and most guys lay the pipe and ask questions later if she looks good.
Barry couldn't handle his ho plain and simple. It happens to everyone but only some find out about it.
